    TAMPA BAY -3
    INDIANAPOLIS @ TAMPA BAY | 12/08 | 1:00 PM EST
    YESTERDAY 10:48 PM
The Colts will try to pound the ball as usual, but the Bucs' defense is elite against the run. Kenny Moore's absence will hurt Indy in this matchup, as the Bucs trot out three dangerous wideouts plus O.J. Howard. Lay the points as Indy, minus T.Y. Hilton, continues to be fade material.

The Rams should have won the first meeting in Seattle; they missed a 44-yard field goal with 11 seconds left. Now they're at home in a must-win spot against a Seahawks team traveling on a short week. It's tough to fade Russell Wilson in primetime, but the Rams are as healthy as they've been in a while and coming off a dominant performance. They will contain the Seahawks' run game and do enough to scrape out a win.

The Steelers' offense remains extremely limited, and I think their elite defense will contain Kyler Murray and the Cards. Look for a 20-17 type of game and go Under.

    WED 12/4
Even though both teams love to run the ball, I think we're getting value below the key number of 44. Both teams have explosive playmakers, and the Ravens' dynamic attack will force Buffalo to keep pace. Go Over.

    TENNESSEE @ OAKLAND | 12/08 | 4:25 PM EST
    TUE 12/3
This Raiders' season is going south quickly, while the Titans are now 5-1 behind Ryan Tannehill. Oakland ranks 31st in defense, per DVOA. Look for Derrick Henry's late-season surge to continue as the Titans win and cover.

Sean McVay has seen the light. The L.A. coach acknowledged he has underused WR Todd Gurley and vows to make amends. The Rams can ride Gurley and QB Jared Goff, coming off his best game this season, past potentially tired Seattle. The past four weeks, the Seahawks have endured two OT games, a hard-hitting win at Philadelphia and victories over Super Bowl contenders San Francisco and Minnesota. All four Ws have ended in one-score margins. A letdown is overdue.

Here is the average score for the past four Pittsburgh games: 15-13.5. That’s not halftime, but end-of-game. With top RB James Conner (shoulder) out again, the Steelers’ offense likely won't feast on Arizona’s bottom-rated defense. Pittsburgh’s defense might make rookie QB Kyler Murray wish he’d stayed another year in college. It ranks third in sacks, second in interceptions and tied for first in forced fumbles. --

          DETROIT @ MINNESOTA | 12/08 | 1:00 PM EST
          THU 12/5
The Vikings have not shaken the after-effects of Monday’s loss at Seattle. Dalvin Cook (shoulder) will play, but the No. 3 RB in the league for most touches surely will have a reduced workload. OT Riley Reiff (concussion), who protects Kirk Cousin from the left side, seems doubtful. WR Adam Thielen’s ailing hamstring could extend his rehab. That’s a lot of offensive firepower, and the Vikings do not deserve their status as a nearly two-TD favorite, especially with Detroit off since Turkey Day.

          WASHINGTON @ GREEN BAY | 12/08 | 1:00 PM EST
          THU 12/5
The Redskins play slow-w-w-ly on offense, at a league-low pace of 54 snaps per game. Green Bay stands at 22nd with 62. A shortened game favors an underdog on the receiving end of nearly two TDs. Washington QB Dwayne Haskins has shed rookie jitters and delivered two straight outright wins. Though Packers QB Aaron Rodgers excels in the cold, an early arrival of snow that is forecast for Monday would favor the rush-first team against the No. 25 defense against the run.

          MON 12/2
Since QB Ryan Tannehill was installed as the starter, Tennessee is 5-1 and has averaged 36 points over the last three weeks. The Raiders got off to an impressive start with smoke, mirrors and coach Jon Gruden’s magic but have declined dramatically and been outscored 74-12 in their last two games. Oakland’s hope is that a return home will flip the script, but that's unlikely to happen here.

          MON 12/2
The gap between the offenses is so vast that Kansas City looms as a straight-up winner. The Chiefs own the second-best yards-per-snap average, a stark contrast to New England’s No. 23 placement. Patriots QB Tom Brady’s frustration with his undermanned unit is evident. With a recent 10-4 ATS road record, the Chiefs will not be intimidated by the rabid crowd. The deadly duo of QB Pat Mahomes and WR Tyreek Hill finally is together after both missed chunks of the schedule.

          SAN FRANCISCO @ NEW ORLEANS | 12/08 | 1:00 PM EST
          MON 12/2
Under normal circumstances, San Francisco might be the play. But the 49ers are reeling from a crushing defeat three time zones away, have flown to Tampa for a week’s practice and then head to New Orleans. An odd agenda, for sure. The Saints will be rested after last playing on Thanksgiving. They are more balanced than the 49ers and are tied for eighth in yards per play on both offense and defense.

Jameis Winston is in this game, which means there's a good chance the total is going Over. Bucs games have gone Over 9 of 12 times this season, and the Colts will be missing multiple DBs due to injury. Indy hasn't been scoring a lot lately, but Tampa's pass D isn't very good and the Colts could be playing catch-up. There's also the chance Winston could throw a pick-six at any moment. Take the Over.

Both these teams have seen their games go Under the total more often than not this season, and the latest injury news also points toward the Under, as Von Miller is expected to play while Will Fuller is not. Denver has a good enough defense to slow Deshaun Watson a bit, but it’s hard to envision Drew Lock putting up a lot of points in his first road start. Take the Under.

It’s remarkable the Raiders are at .500 considering the only teams in the AFC with a worse point differential are the Bengals and Dolphins. The Raiders are awful on defense (second worst in the NFL by DVOA), and they’ll face a Titans team that’s averaging 29.6 points per game since Ryan Tannehill took over. It's unlikely the Raiders will be able to run it much vs. a good Titans run D and with Josh Jacobs questionable. Lay the points.

Steelers games have gone Under the total in all five road contests they’ve played so far, and when you consider that James Conner and JuJu Smith-Schuster are out with injuries and third stringer Duck Hodges will start at QB, it’s hard to envision a lot of points here. The Steelers also bring the No. 3 defense by DVOA. Take the Under.

The Dolphins have covered the spread in six of their last eight games, including a win over the Jets in Week 9. The concern is that the Jets, coming off a loss to the Bengals, are prime for a rebound. But not only have the Fins been playing hard for Brian Flores, they’re the healthier team by far. Miami didn’t list a single player on the injury report, while the Jets will be without Le’Veon Bell and their best defensive player, Jamal Adams, is doubtful. The Dolphins should be able to keep it close. Grab the points.

The Redskins have won their past two games because of their rookie QB just managing the game and not turning the ball over (1 int). They scored 29 points last week. Winds at around 12 mph are expected in Green Bay, but it doesn’t concern me as 18 mph would. The Packers have gone over in 10 of their last 14 games in December and the Redskins defense allows 24 ppg. I’m on the over.

The Rams and Seahawks have gone over in their last four meetings. The last meeting on Oct. 3 at Seattle was won by the Seahawks, 30-29. The Seahawks have won their last five and covered their last four, but their defense does bend. Meanwhile, Rams QB Jared Goff was back on his game at a high-level week at Arizona throwing for 424 yards. Plus, Goff's receivers are all healthy heading into this matchup. Rams get the win.

This is a huge game in the NFC for No. 1 seeding in the playoffs, and while the Saints have failed to cover the spread in their last two home games, those are the only non-covers in their last 10 games overall. Those last two spreads at home were -10 and -14. New Orleans at home laying less than a field goal against anyone should be attractive. I’m on the Saints.
