NBA | Pelicans vs 76ers
Play on: Pelicans +7 -103 at pinnacle
10* FREE NBA PICK (Pelicans +7)
I'l take my chances here with the Pelicans catching 7-points on the road against the 76ers. As difficult as it may to back New Orleans right now, as they have lost 10 straight, I really like this spot for them. Any time a losing streak reaches double-digits I think teams start to get really frustrated with the losing and start giving a little more to get back in the win column. We saw signs of this when veteran J.J. Redick delivered a stern message at the half of their last game against the Bucks. I think we see this team with a little more life tonight.
On top of that, this feels like a great spot to fade Philadelphia. 76ers are getting all kinds of praise for their 13-0 start at home and they are coming off an emotional win at Boston last night against the rival Celtics. I just think it's going to be really hard for Philly to bring their "A" game against a struggling team like the Pelicans on no rest.
76ers are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team that's won fewer than 40% of their games and are 3-9-1 ATS last 13 when playing on no rest after the starters logged 160 or minutes in the previous game. Give me New Orleans +7!

NBA | Lakers vs Heat
Play on: Heat +5½ -104 at betonline
This is a Free NBA play on the Miami Heat.
The King returns to South Beach, and the Lakers come into Miami as winners of 15 of their last 16. I bet against the Lakers in their last game, and they won by nine points as an 8-point favorite in Orlando.
Here is what I said prior to the game: "The Lakers have won four straight since losing to Dallas in a game that ended a 10-game win streak, so its hard to get bettors excited about betting against LA. For that reason we have seen this line bet up 2-points after opening at -5.5, and I like the Magic in the role of home underdog. Orlando isn't a great team, but they are one of the league's better home teams. The Magic have 11 wins, and eight of those have come at home. They have lost four home games, and only one of those home losses came by more than seven points. If there was ever a game that the Lakers don't need to care about, this is it. Keep in mind the Lakers are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games as a road favorite, and they have failed to cover in five of their last six visits to Orlando."
Dinner plans with D-Wade, show AD all the hot spots in Miami? Maybe beating the Heat is not the top priority here?
Take MIAMI.
GL,
Jesse Schule
