Rotation #529-530 Clippers +2 over Lakers The Clippers are finally healthy and have all of their roster practicing at full. The Lakers on the other hand have been on such a long road trip that they have not been practicing and LeBron and Davis are not at 100% tonight. It’s great to see basketball back in LA. The Staples Center will be rocking tonight. The Clippers are a more balanced and complete team right now and should take this game the same way they won the season opener against the Lakers. Take the Clippers
1-Unit Play. Take #828 Washington (-1) over Houston (9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec 25)
We've hit with Washington twice in this tournament. Let's go to the well. I said prior to our 7-Unit Play on Sunday that I thought they were the best team in this tournament and that they were going to win it. No reason to back away now. Houston has lost to any top tier team that they've played this season, including home losses to BYU and Oklahoma State. I don't see their luck improving here on a neutral site. The Cougars are a solid squad. But they don't have any functional size (only one starter is taller than 6-5) and I don't think they are going to beat the Huskies 2-3 zone over the top. Let's keep rolling with the Huskies.
5 Unit Play. Take UNDER 220 #525-26 Milwaukee at Philadelphia (2:35 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Dec. 25) Philadelphia has a chance to knock off Milwaukee at home. How do they do it, by not trying to play fast with the Bucks, rather slow them down like Toronto did in the playoffs. The 76ers should be wired since this is their first home game on Christmas since 1988. The situation also fits Philly who is 11-2 UNDER after two spread winners as a favorite, the last a 125-109 blowout at Detroit.
