As hot as the Raptors are offensively and how bad the Hawks have been defensively, I think there's some decent value with the UNDER in Monday's early NBA action. Both of these teams have to running on fumes, as each played in a back-to-back on Friday/Saturday.
It will be the third game in four days for both sides and that's magnified even more with the early start time for this matchup. Add in the fact that the game is being broadcast nationally on NBATV and that should have both teams trying a little harder on the defensive side of the ball.
Also, while these two combined for 235 points in their only other meeting this season, that game saw the two teams combine for 37 made 3-pointers. I just don't think these two will be knocking down shots at that kind of rate.
UNDER is 15-5 in the Raptors last 20 road games after winning 4/5 of their previous 6, 10-4-1 in their last 15 as a road favorite and 7-2 in their last 9 vs a team with a losing record. UNDER is also 6-2 in the last 8 meetings in the series. Take the UNDER!

SACRED MOUNTAIN - The ROI when Beato and Houghton get together is good. This gelding made his first start on Dec 12th and ran well to finish first at big odds. I'm looking for another big effort from him today. Is ranked highest in earnings per race entered. A dominant performance in this race can increase the lifetime bankroll. ON THE TURF - I like to invest in this handicapping theory, a horse coming back off a strong contest within the last thirty days. I like this colt a lot here. He shows a lot of consistency, finishing in the money frequently. I think that a sprinter coming off a layoff will usually run his best in the 3rd or 4th start back. BERNIE'S ON FIRE - This gelding is the longer price of the 'split' entry from the barn of Gonzalez. Dropping 5 pounds from last race. Could be a deciding factor today.

My pick in this competition is MISERY MOON. She should definitely be given consideration given the solid speed figs. This filly obviously likes the distance, going 2 for 5 in her races lately. Will probably be one of the leaders of the group going into the midpoint of the contest. GOLDINE - Shows evidence of the look of a money-making play, averaging a solid 66 speed fig which is one of the best in this group. Well above average win rate at this distance/surface. GRAY RIVER - This filly obviously likes the distance, going 1 - 4 in her races lately. Will probably go to the front end and should never look back.
