I'll take my chances here with the Tar Heels as a 9.5-point dog at Florida State Monday night. I just think there's value here with North Carolina. I get this has been as bad a start to a season that we have seen in quite some time for the Tar Heels, but they have played the majority of their schedule without star freshman Cole Anthony.
He returned to action in UNC's last game and put up 26 points. I get the Tar Heels lost the game 70-71 as a 12-point favorite, but that doesn't concern me. Not to mention this team had been playing better in the few games before Anthony's return. I just think if Anthony hadn't been out for that extended stretch, our view on this team would be a lot different and no way would they be getting almost 10 points against FSU.
Seminoles are off a win and cover at Virginia Tech on Saturday, but they had failed to cover their previous 3 games. I just think FSU is still overvalued and right now the Tar Heels are undervalued.
As bad as UNC Has been this year, they still come into this game 12-3 ATS last 15 conference road games and are 14-3 ATS last 17 off a loss as a favorite of 12 or more. Give me the Tar Heels +9.5!

But since the Wizards are coming off two straight home wins and covers over the Hornets and Nets, they are getting some love. The Wizards haven’t been this big of a favorite all season, and they’ve actually only been favored seven times all year. The Warriors are as healthy as they’ve been this season and coming off a 131-112 win at Cleveland. Golden State has won nine of its last 10 meetings with Washington. Give me the Warriors.

When big name players are forced to miss a game or get injured, more times than not, a bench player steps up in his absence in that first contest. Remember, these guys are all professionals and the great players separate themselves by being way more consistent than the bench guys. In other words, we expect the Nets to step up in Kyrie’s absence tonight, who was injured in their last game against the Wizards. In the game against the Wiz when Irving went down, Brooklyn got a big night in from Joe Harris with 22 points and Spencer Dinwiddie who scored 26. Both can go off again here against a Suns defense that is 18th in defensive efficiency allowing 1.110 points per possession and ranks 24th in field goal percentage allowed. The Nets are just 2-4 SU their last six at home BUT the four losses came against red hot Utah, 1st place Milwaukee, Philadelphia and the Lakers. The two most recent home wins came by 10-points against Detroit and 15 versus Chicago. The Suns are much closer to Detroit and Chicago than they are to the other four teams the Nets lost to at home recently. Phoenix comes into this game off a road loss by -21-points in Milwaukee. This will also be their 3rd game in four days so fatigue becomes a factor. The Suns are 3-4 SU when playing the second night of a back-to-back with a negative differential of minus -5PPG. Brooklyn is offering tremendous value here and we’ll back the Nets in this situation.

Memphis should have no problem putting away the Pistons by more than the number here. Easy fade of Detroit in this one. Pistons are in an absolute brutal spot playing on the road after a 128-123 OT win at home against the Nuggets. A game they rallied from a 21-point deficit in.
It was going to be hard enough for Detroit rebounding on no rest against a motivated Grizzlies team that will be looking to rebound from an ugly 28-point loss at New Orleans. It becomes that much harder with Derrick Rose likely not play, as he's been their best player this year.
Pistons have also not performed well in this spot, going just 2-6 ATS this season on no rest and 4-12-1 ATS last 17 off a SU win. They are also just 3-10-1 ATS last 14 on the road against a team with a winning home record. Grizzlies are 7-2 ATS last 9 at home and 5-1 ATS last 6 off a loss. Take Memphis!
