These two teams enter with identical 32-15 records. Even in late January, this is a crucial contest in the playoff race. I like the Nuggets for a few reasons. First of all, they're back at home in Denver where they're 18-6 this season, and outscoring teams by 5.3 points per 100 possessions. Meanwhile, the Jazz have to travel to Denver on the second night of a road back-to-back which is never a fun situation, and are also playing their third game in four nights. Look for the Nuggets to take advantage of a worn out Jazz team that has dropped their last two contests.

As per your selection on the Buffalo Sabres, we feel that this is an ideal spot to back them against a Montreal team that is just ravaged with injuries and continues to give up boatloads of goals. The Sabres came out of the break flat against the Sens, losing 5-2 despite being tied at 2-2 at one point. The Canadians were simply outplayed by the Capitals in their first game out of the break and we expect that trend to continue on the road against a Sabres team who has an excellent home record and who is better on the defensive side of the ice. The Sabres have already beaten the Habs once this season and there's no reason to believe they can't do it again on home ice. Look for Buffalo to come out strong and get a much needed two points to stop the losing streak.

Pacific last 6 games 4 of them have gone 'Over' and the Tigers will be looking for more offense tonight since their last two games they scored 59 points to Gonzaga and 60 points to BYU. Remember, they got off to a super slow start this season and since have turned it on and are playing as well as anyone in the league right now. And this is a very important game and should have a playoff-like atmosphere, and we just think the cream will rise to the top tonight. This game is important. After playing horrible defense last time out we are sure the focus for Utah has been strong defense, and we think the Jazz will lock down on that end tonight. The Jazz are 16-7 ATS in the last 23 meetings, and we feel this is their game to take tonight.

Murray State lost a lot of talent from last year. It’s not easy replacing a guy like Ja Morant. This is a young basketball team with not much experience and had one of the easiest schedules in the nation this year. This is a 15-5 team that might not be good as 15-5. Eastern Illinois has a lot of veteran players and a few JC transfers. This is a mature team that should be able to keep this game close. That +465 money line is awfully tempting. Take Eastern Illinois.

Utah won both meetings last year, but are just a shell of the team they were a season ago. This is a team with 5 freshman that see a lot of minutes and the rest are just second year players. There is no junior or senior that plays a big role on this squad. USC has a ton of experience and under the leadership of Andy Enfield are heading in the right direction. Utah plays awful defense on the road. USC plays great defense at home. There should come a time in this game where the Trojans make a run on offense and a few stops on defense that allow them to get out to a big enough run to win this by double digits. Take USC.
