The Preds close out a five game road trip tonight in Vancouver. Nashville will have a successful trip if they can register a third victory before returning home to for a game versus New York.
A victory is not only favorable tonight but expected if you listen to the Nashville coaching staff and the players.
"A successful trip when we win in Vancouver," Johansen said. The Preds are in line to sweep the season series and all things point to such.

The Canucks will be without forward Brock Boeser, who has 16 goals and 45 points, for the contest.

Plus, you have a TCU team that has nothing to lose at this point given how their season is going and they just dropped less than 50 points against a very good Kansas defense. So, you have a TCU team that does and will get up to face Texas Teech and a Texas Tech team that has not really busted out on offense lately with 69 and 62 points last two games and I think they bust out on offense as well and therefore we expect this game to likely go over the posted total. We are rolling with the Panthers as small road dogs in this one. The Panthers went into the all star break on a tear winning 6 in a row. Now coming out of the break they have lost 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5. They are in the thick of the playoff race and are desperate for a win to get back on track. I know the Flyers have been playing well at home, but they come off a beat down in Washington winning 7-2, and I expect a let down here today. The Panthers have one of the best offenses in the league and I expect them focused here today. This is also a big public fade boot. I think the Panthers snap out of their funk here today and grab a big road win. Panthers are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings. Flyers are 1-6 in their last 7 when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game.

TCU has really been struggling in conference play, but they do have a lot of talent and can heat up from the three point line. Texas Tech is also a good three point shooting team. I believe we will see both teams attempt a lot from downtown. Tech couldn’t make 3’s in the first meeting and couldn’t get to the line either. That will reverse itself tonight at home. The Red Raiders don’t have the same defense as last year so I believe TCU can put up points tonight. This total is set a little bit low because I believe the pace will be a little quicker tonight and more shots will be attempted from the three line. Take the Over
