I'll take my chances here with Cincinnati laying 6.5-points at home against the Tigers. I really like this spot for the Bearcats. We played against Cincinnati on Sunday at UConn and were very fortunate to get a cover in OT. Bearcats' best player in Cumberland went just 1 for 11 from the field and they only lost by 1-point. Cumberland averages 15.1 ppg.
I think losing that game they felt like they should have won will serve as motivation, but not as much as they will get from an ugly 49-60 loss at Memphis earlier this season. At that point the Tigers were 14-3. They are just 3-3 since and I think they are in for a tough night.
We know Memphis will be without D.J. Jeffries, who was huge in that first meeting with 18 points and 4 made 3-pointers. He's second on the team in scoring at 10.8 ppg. Leading scorer Precious Achiuwa is questionable and he had 12 points, 11 boards and 2 blocks against the Bearcats. Achiuwa is dealing with a bad back. He played in their last game against USF, but only 18 minutes and scored 6 points on 3 of 10 shooting.
Lastly, Cincinnati has been on a different level at home in ACC play. They are 5-0 at home. They have beat UConn by 16, Tulsa by 31, ECU by 25 and SMU by 22. The only close game was a 2-point win over Houston, who is hands down the best team in the league. Give me the Bearcats -6.5!

Florida International is playing too well to be catching double-digits from Louisiana Tech. The Golden Panthers have gone 6-2 SU & 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall to improve to 17-8 on the season and 8-4 in conference play. They are legit contenders to win Conference USA this year.
Louisiana Tech is just 1-2 SU & 0-3 ATS in its last three games overall while losing outright as a favorite twice and only winning by 3 at home over Old Dominion as 11-point favorites. The Bulldogs have been consistently overvalued down the stretch while laying too many points night in and night out.
Florida International is 3-0 SU & 3-0 ATS in its last three meetings with Louisiana Tech with three outright upsets. The Golden Panthers are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a winning percentage above 60%. Bet Florida International Thursday.

Free College Basketball Prediction from Doc’s Sports: Take Indiana over Iowa (7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13) I think that I have found a sharp spot on Thursday night's card, and I am smelling an upset in the Big Ten. Indiana has been exposed in league play and they are on a four-game losing streak. However, I think that they might have hit rock bottom last Saturday getting blown out at home by Purdue. Their last four losses have come against Maryland, Penn State, Ohio State and Purdue. There's no real shame there, and I think that they are due to knock someone off. Iowa has not been good on the road this year. They aren't good on the road at all, frankly. But they have benefited from the fact that they never seem to have to play on the road! Six of their last nine games have been in Iowa City. They were blown out in their last two road games and they are coming off a peak effort in a revenge spot at Nebraska last Saturday. Iowa has two road games this weekend - at Indiana and at Minnesota. I would be absolutely stunned if they won both and I can see them getting knocked off here by an Indiana team that is due for a win and that can be tough at home.

I really like the value with the Ragin' Cajuns catching a big number on a the road against the Jaguars. These two teams played once already and it came down to the wire with South Alabama narrowly escaping with a 60-57 win.
Lafayette only lost by 3, despite shooting 32.8% from the field. Big reason is they made 12 3-pointers to the Jaguars 5. Expect another big edge in 3-pointers made and if they hit a few more of their shots they not only will cover this thing, they will win outright.
Another thing to note with South Alabama, is this is not exactly a great spot. Sure they are playing at home after 3 straight on the road, but I could see them coming out flat here, especially off that big rivalry win over Troy.
Not to mention, the Jaguars have just 1 win in their last 7 games by more than the number here. S Alabama is 2-8-2 ATS last 12 times they have been listed as a favorite and 2-5 ATS last 7 at home vs a team with a losing road record. Home team has failed to cover 4 straight in the series. Take Lafayette!
