Easy play here on the Buckeyes laying a small number at home against the Boilermakers. Purdue had their 3-game winning streak snapped with an ugly 76-88 home loss to Penn State and will have a hard time bouncing back on the road against a surging Ohio State team.
The Buckeyes have put that dreaded 1-6 stretch from late December into January behind them. Ohio State has won 4 of their their last 5, including a big time 72-66 win at home over Rutgers on Wednesday. Hard to not like the Buckeyes to stay hot at home, where they are 12-2 this season.
Purdue is just 4-8 away from home this season. Boilermakers really struggle to shoot well on the road. That's a problem against a Ohio State defense that is elite at defending the 2-point shot. Purdue is only shooting 28.6% from deep on the road.
As for the Buckeyes' offense, they should be able to attack through their big man Kaleb Wesson, as the Boilermakers are not the best at defending the rim. When they get Wesson going they are really tough to beat.
Purdue is 2-7-1 ATS last 10 games as an underdog and 1-5-1 ATS last 7 as a road dog. They are 5-13 ATS last 18 conference road games. Buckeyes 7-1 ATS last 8 at home off a win and 7-3 ATS last 10 at home vs a team with a losing road record. Take Ohio State!

Saturday CBB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Southern U at 6:30 pm et on Saturday.
Few are paying attention, but Arkansas-Pine Bluff is riding a six-game 'under' streak entering this clash with Southern U on Saturday. It hasn't shot better than 40% from the field since back on January 25th and even in that game the Golden Lions made only 17 field goals. Southern has been held to 56 points or less in four of its last 10 games and checks in sporting a 3-8 o/u mark over its last 11 contests. In its last two 'over' results it shot better than 60% from the field. I certainly don't expect it to approach that level here. As bad as Arkansas-Pine Bluff has been, winning only three games this season, it has held its last four opponents to 42.5% shooting or worse. Note that the 'under' has gone a perfect 10-0 when Arkansas-Pine Bluff faces an opponent that commits less than 15 turnovers per game this season. Take the under (8*).

Creighton is red hot and getting alot of love from the linesmakers, maybe just a bit to much love leaving us value on the number getting points with a hard working DePaul team that despite of losing 10 of their L/11 are not showing any signs of giving up as was evident in close losses at Marquette and Georgetown. Im betting with Marquette on board for the Blue Jays next, they will not be fully focused here today giving room for the never say Demon deacons. The key Im betting comes on the board as the Bluejays own the worst defensive rebounding group in the entire Big East.
