IN SIDE THE LINE - He looks respectable in this spot and I expect will be on the lead or close at the midpoint. Seems to have a very good class edge based on the most recent company kept. MR. BIG SHOT - This group is much less demanding than the last one he ran against. Decent jockey and handler combo winning 22 percent of their races working together.

I SPOT A CARTEL figures to be the bet in here. Could beat this group given the 71 Equibase speed fig put up in his last outing. Is difficult not to look at given the company run in lately. He has been running soundly lately while recording sharp Equibase Speed Figs. B LUCKY - He should definitely be carefully examined given the very good speed figures. Earned a sound speed rating in the latest race. Can run another good one in this affair. FAST THINKING - Has earned sound speed figures in short races in the past. Trainer boasts solid win figures at this distance and surface.

BATTLE READY - The rest of the field may trail this animal all the way around the track. Look at this pattern of improvement. 62/77/79 are the last three speed ratings. KIERLAND - Marquez and Reid perform well when they team up. It's hard to beat a +57 ROI for a jock and handler. You have to consider the solid works of late. SIR DOUGLAS - A repeat of that recent race on January 30th where he notched a fig of 83 looks high enough to triumph in this contest. This gelding is in nice form. Finished second on January 30th. The improved speed ratings over the last 3 races is solid. Gorham drops him in this affair in shape and ready to win.
