2-Unit Play. Take #828 Wisconsin (-5) over Rutgers (1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23)
I love this Rutgers team, but this is a tough spot for them. Wisconsin is one of the best home teams in the conference and this is kind of a tricky matchup for the physical Scarlet Knights. 1-Unit Play. Take #834 Manhattan (-3) over Canisius (2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23) 1-Unit Play. Take #840 Monmouth (-6.5) over Quinnipiac (2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23) 1-Unit Play. Take #847 South Florida (+7.5) over Connecticut (2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23)
I think that this is too many points. I don't know how up for this game the Huskies will be. And seemingly every game that they play these days goes to overtime or comes down to the final shot. They have zero depth and I don't know how much energy their starters have left in the tank as the season heads to March. I don't see a blowout here. 1-Unit Play. Take #856 Boise State (-9.5) over New Mexico (4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23)
This is the final home game for an experienced bunch of Boise State seniors. New Mexico has been kind of a mess over the past month or so and they have dumped six of the last seven games. Boise State has shown in the past that they are capable of burying 3-Unti Play. Take #858 Ohio State (-2.5) over Maryland (5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23)
Ohio State needs this game more. Pure and simple. They have to have this game to right the ship after a shaky run through league play. They have won their last three home games and I think that they will be way, way up for this one. Maryland has not been a great road team this year; that is where they have been vulnerable. I think their nine-game winning streak gets snapped. 1-Unit Play. Take #861 Miami (+6.5) over Notre Dame (6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23)
Miami has been hot since going to their four-guard lineup. I think that they will keep it rolling here. Notre Dame is not a physical team at all. That's good, because Miami isn't particularly big. I think the Hurricanes are still undervalued and I think that they have a chance to win this one outright. 2-Unit Play. 5-POINT TEASER: Take #856 Boise State (-4.5) over New Mexico (4 p.m.) AND Take #861 Miami (+11.5) over Notre Dame (6 p.m.)
NORTHERN IOWA -10.5
S. ILLINOIS @ NORTHERN IOWA | 2/23 | 2:00 PM EST
12:44 PM
The Panthers are undefeated at home and face a Salukis team that's 3-7-1 ATS on the road. Look for MVC leader Northern Iowa, coming off two tight road losses, to avenge its earlier 2-point loss at SIU in a big way. Lay it.

MINNESOTA +13
MINNESOTA @ DENVER | 2/23 | 6:00 PM EST
12:36 PM
The Nuggets have beaten the Timberwolves seven straight times, and Minnesota enters on a 1-16 skid. But I think the new-look Minnesota roster has enough offense with D'Angelo Russell and Malik Beasley to stay within the number. Denver is just 3-9-1 ATS in its last 13 vs. sub-.400 teams. Grab the points.

ST. JOHN'S @ SETON HALL | 2/23 | 2:00 PM EST

The Pirates have too much firepower for the Red Storm, and they're also the Big East's top defensive team. Look for a huge game from Myles Powell as the home team improves to 22-8 ATS in the last 30 meetings.
INDIANA -101
PENN ST. @ INDIANA | 2/23 | 12:00 PM EST
11:49 AM
The Hoosiers posted a huge win at Minnesota and now have a home game against a ranked team that can give their NCAA Tournament hopes life. Indiana needs this one bad. The arena will be electric as the Hoosiers are catching Penn State at the “right time.”

RUTGERS +5
RUTGERS @ WISCONSIN | 2/23 | 1:00 PM EST
11:45 AM
Gym, tan, laundry and defense - that’s what Rutgers does. Defense does travel, and I expect this to be a one-possession game late. Both teams struggle to score in the half-court. It will be a close game in Madison.

HOLY CROSS +17.5
HOLY CROSS @ COLGATE | 2/23 | 2:00 PM EST

Colgate is talented and could win a game in the NCAA Tournament, but Holy Cross is playing better under first-year coach Brett Nelson. This is just too many points to pass up.

Bryant coach Jared Grasso is a star and his team finally has gotten back on track. The Bulldogs will extend their two-game winning streak thanks to their stifling defense.

EVANSVILLE +122

Todd Lickliter probably wishes he stayed at Butler back in the day. Now he's the head coach at Evansville and winless in the Missouri Valley Conference - until today. The Purple Aces finally have adapted his style, and Indiana State is wildly inconsistent on the road. Evansville notches its first conference victory here.
VEGAS -170
VEGAS @ ANAHEIM | 2/23 | 10:00 PM EST
12:07 PM
Road favorites playing back-to-back games against a conference opponent this season are 23-9. This is on the Golden Knights tonight. Meanwhile, favorites against conference foes that they defeated in their previous matchup and are coming off a home win are 9-2. The Ducks are 2-9 in the all-time series. We are on the Golden Knights in this one.
CREIGHTON -5
BUTLER @ CREIGHTON | 2/23 | 4:00 PM EST
12:02 PM
Butler looks like it's run out of gas at the most important time of the season. The Bulldogs have lost back-to-back games and four of their last six (1-5 ATS). After a nice start to Big East play, they now are 7-7, and they've gone 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 contests. Creighton has elevated its game with wins and covers in its last four and has covered seven of its last nine at home. Creighton is the play.

S. DAK. ST. -5.5
SOUTH DAKOTA @ S. DAK. ST. | 2/23 | 3:00 PM EST
11:57 AM
South Dakota State has lots of reasons to play hard and get the win. The first is that it’s facing South Dakota, and the schools do not like each other. The second reason is that the Coyotes posted a 99-84 home win over the Jackrabbits on Jan. 19, meaning revenge will be in play. Another reason is that SDSU has a slim lead in the Summit League with two games to go. Also, the Jackrabbits have won seven straight (6-1 ATS) and are 15-0 at home. I'm on South Dakota State.
