Nice 4* Winner yesterday on Texas/WVU Under and we roll with another total here. We like the Under here as Ole Miss gave up 100+ points to Alabama and Kermit Davis talked about how his team was discombobulated if you will and was out of sync entirely. They have played Auburn and took them two two overtimes losing by 1 point and it is hard for me to imagine they don't come out with a fire defensively. Plus, Auburn was flat against Tennessee in the first half and came out with great fire in 2nd half and forced 20 turnovers and a ton of steals. I think Mississippi and Auburn come out with some competitive fire on the defensive end and this game likely goes under for another winner for us today. Note, 3-0 Run in Hockey, 8-1 Run in the NBA as we keep rolling nicely and we have won 3 straight years in Baseball and won in WNBA last year.

Sure...give me the point...we have the winning team here...and soon this will sadly be a favorite flip if my numbers are right! The Bobcats are a nice little team and I honestly think they are underachieving and we've talked about my admiration of Jason Preston...but the Bulls defense is too good right now without enough excellent go to playmakers for the home team!

I had seen this may open with Buffalo as a dog and wanted to make sure to JUMP QUICK!

amendment: This line is ALL OVER THE PLACE...and I suppose there are a lot of questions and I understand the difficulty, but I will be clear (maybe we'll be wrong, it does happen haha) that I liked Buffalo even IF Dartis and McDay were good to go...and maybe they are...but both are as unhealthy as just from last game against BG...where McDay missed the game entirely with a bum ankle...and Dartis left the game, not to return, with a leg injury. There might be paths to a W for OU without both these starters, leaving Preston, Ogbonda, and Vander Plas with ALL the onus, plus the home court...but the hill is very steep at that point...and I certainly LOVE this play were both those players to be declared out!

If this was a high liability NCAA weekend game, let alone a Thursday TNT NBA game or NFL game...then I'm sure this line would be OFF...but it's college hoops...the take will be a couple thousand bets maybe...and Vegas tosses hands in the air and throws up the line as previously concocted. Get yourself some +1, get yourself some +1.5, get you some +2 if you see it pop...or take PK...my cap on this game is Buffalo keeps up the doing work defensive aspect and gets a pretty solid W.

This game comes down to one simple question – are the Pelicans capable of making a run to the postseason; contenders or pretenders? Put me in the ‘contenders’ camp! Throw away every Pelicans stat and result from before Zion got healthy and you’ll see a team that is very much ‘playoff caliber.’

The results do not lie. The Pelicans aren’t losing many games by margin since Zion Williamson returned to the lineup. Heck, they weren’t losing games by margin BEFORE he entered the lineup. In their last 17 games, the Pelicans have a grand total of ONE loss by more than eight points (tonight’s spread as I write this). They’ve won seven of their last eight on the highway in SU fashion, proving capable of stepping up strong during crunchtime in hostile environments. That includes a dominant 69-45 second half in Golden State over the weekend to notch the win and cover.

New Orleans head coach Alvin Gentry, talking about Zion’s attitude at halftime of that game, when the Pelicans were struggling: “He basically just said, 'Hey, let's go, we gotta play the way we are capable of playing….He isn't your typical 19-year-old. He's a very mature kid, very respectful of his teammates, and they are respectful to him as well. He is all about winning, just winning."

Meanwhile, the Lakers are coming off a huge, national TV ‘playoff atmosphere’ last minute win against the Celtics, facing a team they’ve beaten in each of the last four meetings. LA hasn’t been a dominant team at home – they’ve been most profitable on the highway, and have SU losses to the Magic, Blazers and Rockets on this floor in their last seven home games. They’re facing multiple former Lakers like Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and leading scorer Brandon Ingram, all of whom have a chip on their shoulder and something to prove at the Staples Center. Florida Panthers in the go against out of Las Vegas angle, which continues to be very solid. Florida is 3-8 in its last 11 games, their goaltending has been very shaky and they traded away one of their best players at the Monday deadline. Darcy Kuemper is back after a lengthy injury absence and could start here. If not, it will be Antti Raanta, who is one of the hottest goalies in the league right now. Fortunately, the price tag isn't high here as I'm not wild about laying a big number with Arizona. But in this price range and this spot, the Coyotes look like a good play.

Panthers and Coyotes on Tuesday night and a play on the Yotes here. After losing 6 of 7 the Panthers hit the West Coast for the final time in need of some wins and started a 5 game road trip successfully with a couple wins over San Jose and Anaheim but their bad habits earlier this month have reappeared and they've dropped consecutive games to Los Angeles and Vegas and now finish off the trip in Arizona and the next up game from teams coming out of Vegas hasn't been a profitable one with a 9-24 record. The Panthers were busy at the trade deadline Monday moving forward Vincent Trocheck (arguably the best player in the deal) in a cost cutting measure (save $10 million next season). Panthers are battling the Toronto Maple Leafs for a playoff spot and with a meeting up next on Thursday in Florida they might be looking past the Coyotes here. Arizona come in off an impressive 7-3 home win over the red hot Tampa Bay Lightning who were coming in off their first loss in 12 games a couple nights earlier to the aforementioned Vegas Golden Knights. They find themselves right in the middle of a tight Western Conference playoff race in 8th and have won 4 of 5 at home and have gone 7-1-3 at home to start the new year. We'll lay the short number here with the Coyotes on Tuesday night.

The first meeting this year was a quality basketball game. Both teams shot the ball well and hit a lot of three pointers. Memphis was in control with 6 minutes left and it was like a lid went on the basket. The Tigers scored 0 points in the final 6:01 in the game. How is that even possible? SMU went on a 15-0 run to end the game and won by 4. The Mustangs do a great job at spacing the floor and they hit the three ball as well as any team at home. Memphis is young and will get beat on a lot of kick out plays for wide open three pointers. I do think the Tigers are the more talented team, but pulling off a road win against a team 14-1 in this building is going to be tough. I think we are going to see a ton of three point attempts. SMU is a great offensive team, but still are weak on defense. Memphis may indeed be young, but they can finish near the basket. Look for a high flying offensive game. Take the Over.

Chicago is also off a nice little win (they probably shouldn't have been able to get) over the Wizards...largely due to Washington refusing to play any defense. That IS NOT the Thunder and Billy Donovan's guard trio should feast on the loose ball handling...and Coby White sure as HELL ain't gonna punk CP3 and SGA like he did Beal, who would rather just get 50+ points.
Thunder should cruise out to a solid 4+ point lead in EACH quarter according to our numbers...and cruise to another 1H play...close to a 5% follow up to last night!

I do not understand the line movement on this...but I saw it happening right around the time we were ready to post this play...
Long story & analysis short...I have Alabama winning this game...and not sure why Mississippi State would win...all aspects point to the opposite, fitting our fade the home team that looks so "obvious" system...winning 16 of 17 times just back to December!
