We are rolling with the Flyers at home as this spot sets up well for them. Both teams come in white hot right now but this is a tough spot for a surging Rangers team who are on the 2nd game of a back to back with travel, and their 3rd road game in 4 nights. I think it catches up with them here after their big win last night scoring 4 goals in the 3rd period. This is the first game of a home and home set and no one has been hotter then the Flyers at home and they come in rested giving them a bigger advantage as it is always tough to play in Philly. The Flyers are 13-4-1 their last 18 overall, and 22-5-4 at home. Even better Carter Hart has been lights out at home this year and he comes in with a 17-2-2 1.64 GAA and .941 SV% at home. You are going to have a fired up crowd in Philly on a Friday night and a great spot for them to grab game 1 in this home and home. As the game carries on in the later period, I think the fatigue will catch up to the Rangers here, giving the Flyers the edge. Rangers are 1-7 in the last 8 meetings. Rangers are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings in Philadelphia. Flyers are 30-12 in their last 42 games as a favorite.
