#5 BARONS BOY (ML=6/1)
#4 ZOE'S PAPA CEE (ML=10/1)
#8 BIG LARRY (ML=7/2)
BARONS BOY - Rode this horse on Feb 24th and Guglielmino is right back in the irons this race. A thoroughbred coming back this promptly after a sharp effort is a good omen. ZOE'S PAPA CEE - Stretching a pony out to a route after two sprints is a classic conditioning maneuver. BIG LARRY - I like to bet on this handicapping theory, a thoroughbred coming back off a strong race within the last month or so. Three consecutive improved speed figs (59-61-63) make this animal a solid contender.
Vulnerable Contenders: #6 WARM LAKE DUDE (ML=9/5), #1 TAPIT AT MIDNIGHT (ML=9/2), #3 MENSCH (ML=5/1),
WARM LAKE DUDE - Didn't look like a winner last time. Probably won't do much running in today's event. TAPIT AT MIDNIGHT - If you keep selecting these sort of 'bridesmaid' types, you're going to be disillusioned most every time. MENSCH - You always think this horse has a shot to cross the finish line in first, but he fails often.
