Pretty straightforward cap here....and will expand more in depth in the AM
1) last game for both
2) Huskers didn't have the first season for the Mayor they had hoped....even with low expectations
3) since Kavas went down the margins have been as follows: 17, 12, 21, 21, 24...with a 5 point loss to NW
4) Mack missed the last game...and even with soley Burke and his 16 points they were hammered by UM by 24 points in a non-game period
5) Cheatham and Thor are the ONLY options left and Minnesota has played well lately but not gotten any wins to show for it...they play their final home game and regular season game now knowing they must win the B1G tourney for a Big Dance berth...when a month ago it looked quite possible.
6) Not only solid on offense with a 109 off. efficiency but a 92 def. efficiency despite a 1-5 record over the past 6 games. Time to take out a little frustration on the Huskers....who will have mailed this season in as much as any team EVER on the final Sunday of the regular season
7) to top it off...same period the Gophers are nearly the best team in the ENTIRE COUNTRY defending the 3 point shot...which is all Thor really has going for him....Gophers are healthy and pissed and the Huskers were considering adding me to the starting linuep for tomorrow
