      NEW ORLEANS -1.5
      NEW ORLEANS @ SACRAMENTO | 3/11 | 10:30 PM EDT
      11:06 AM
I have a feeling this line is going to get bigger as the game approaches, so I hope you get to it early enough. I love the Pelicans in this spot. New Orleans has been a beast as a road favorite this season, going 7-1 ATS in such spots. Earlier this season, they played the Kings in Sacramento as two-point underdogs and won 117-115, and that was two weeks before Zion Williamson returned from injury.

I don't take picking double-digit home favorites lightly in NBA games, but the Sixers are the play here as they've been good at home while the Pistons have been awful on the road. Philly is 18-10-2 ATS at home this season, and they've had the last three nights off. Detroit, meanwhile, is 13-18-1 ATS on the road and a slightly worse 10-15-1 ATS as a road dog. Furthermore, while Detroit had the last two nights off, it's only 3-13 ATS when it's at a rest disadvantage against its opponent. Finally, Philly is 2-0 ATS against the Pistons this season, winning both in Detroit.

664 Oklahoma St. -6.0(-110) Westgate vs 663 Iowa St. triple-dime bet

Analysis: Iowa State is in real trouble. A month ago they lost Tyrese Haliburton for the season. He was their leading scorer and shot over 40% from behind the arc and almost 60% inside. They may be without Rasir Bolton who left the last game with a concussion. Since he is/was their PG, that could be an issue. Prentiss Nixon was hurt in the K-State game and HE may not play. They've had walk-ons playing major minutes. Even if Nixon and/or Bolton play, they're just so thin and with their fast pace the sloppiness get magnified. Oklahoma State is playing well, winning six of their last eight and "only" lost at Baylor by eight. They're bigger, and they do play inside on offense. In Conference play Iowa State has the worst defense, period. Oklahoma State won at Houston earlier in the season, beat Syracuse, and held Mississippi to 37 points, and Iowa State hasn't won a game on the road this season - and won't tonight.

          VANDERBILT VS ARKANSAS | 3/11 | 9:30 PM EDT
SEC FIRST ROUND -- The Commodores had a miserable season, but they're entering the SEC Tournament with momentum after two straight outright wins as underdogs. Not only has Vandy upset Alabama, South Carolina and LSU this season, but the Commodores own single-digit losses to Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, Missouri and Tennessee. They can keep it close versus Arkansas and improve to 8-2 ATS in their last 10 versus winning teams.

MIAMI (FLA.) VS CLEMSON | 3/11 | 12:00 PM EDT
ACC TOURNAMENT SECOND ROUND -- Miami beat Clemson, 73-68, in their lone meeting this season, but that lone meeting came on New Year's Eve and a lot has changed since then. The Hurricanes have been horrible on both offense and defense in ACC play this season. Clemson's offense isn't very good, but defensively the Tigers have been solid in conference play and that will give them an advantage against a Miami team that has had trouble stopping teams from scoring.

                            2-Unit Play. Take #634 N.C. State (-4.5) over Pittsburgh (2:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
I don't think that Pittsburgh is going to shoot over 50 percent from the field in this one. They are playing a real team that plays real defense. And the Wolfpack also have what amounts to a home crowd advantage while also being desperate for a win to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. N.C. State is an experienced team and I think that they are going to come to play here. They won't beat it by much, but they should beat this number.

                            2-Unit Play. Take #637 North Carolina (-3) over Syracuse (9 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
Take 'Over' 148.0 North Carolina vs. Syracuse (9 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
The Tar Heels dominated Virginia Tech last night. I think they can pick up another win against a shaky Syracuse team here. UNC went on the road and beat the Orange 92-79 on Feb. 29 and I think that they can do it again. The Orange just aren't very good and they will not be able to keep the Heels out of the paint.

                            2-Unit Play. Take #644 Oregon State (-3) over Utah (3 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
This is it for Tres Tinkle. He hasn't had much success in the Pac-12 Tournament. But I don't think that he is going to see his college career end without a fight. I like this Utah team. We've used them often this year. But they are a completely different team when they play outside their own gym. This is a really young team and these guys don't know what they are playing for right now. I'm going with the experience of the Beavers and I think that they are going to come through here.

                            1-Unit Play. Take #647 California (+9.5) over Stanford (9 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
California is a bad basketball team. Really bad. But I think that Mark Fox is a decent coach. This is a rivalry game and the Golden Bears would love absolutely nothing more than to knock off Stanford and stifle their dreams of going to the NCAA Tournament. It is tough to blowout a team playing with nothing to lose. I think that is where Cal is and I think that they can throw a scare into the Cardinal.

                            1-Unit Play. 5-POINT TEASER: Take #650 Colorado (-3.5) over Washington State (11:30 p.m.) AND Take #657 DePaul (+11.5) over Xavier (9:30 p.m.)

                            1-Unit Play. Take #651 Northwestern (+8.5) over Minnesota (6 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
The Golden Gophers are off a peak effort against a completely overmatched Nebraska team at home on Sunday. Can they do it again here? I'm betting not. Northwestern has gone one of two ways: either they have gotten completely blown out or they have been oddly competitive against top Big Ten teams. Minnesota has either lost outright or blown out their opponents. I think this game is going to fall somewhere in between. Minnesota has already beaten Northwestern twice and I think that the Wildcats will be feisty today.

                            1-Unit Play. Take #655 St. John's (-3.5) over Georgetown (7 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
The line movement here suggests that Georgetown is going to be without Mac McClung and Omer Yurtseven. If they don't play then the Hoyas are cooked. They only have six guys that are playing and they are simply out of gas. Even if those two star players do suit up there's no telling how good they will be. St. John's isn't all that good. But they've been good enough to knock off teams like WVU, Arizona and Creighton. They are playing near home and I think they will put the Hoyas out of their misery.

                            1-Unit Play. Take #661 Iona (+1.5) over St. Peter's (9:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
Iona does its best work in the Metro tournament. Every year. They basically don't even show up to play until this time of the year and they have been outstanding in this tournament. Their win yesterday got the ball rolling down hill and I think they can pick up an upset here. St. Peter's already beat Iona twice this year. I don't think they are going to do it a third time. The Peacocks have been a weird team. They are 11-2 in their last 12 games, which looks like they are playing great. But they have had a bunch of close wins and comeback wins in that stretch, while also losing games to weak sisters Marist and Niagara. I think this young team will stumble here and Iona will do what it does.

                            1-Unit Play. Take #664 Oklahoma State (-1.5) over Iowa State (7 p.m.) AND Take #8374 Colgate (-1.5) over Boston (7:30 p.m.)
It took a couple months too long, but Oklahoma State is finally playing up to its potential. They have won three straight and six of eight and they are on a bit of a heater. I think that their three senior starters are going to go balls out to get one game deeper in this tournament and I don't think that Iowa State is up to snuff. Iowa State is sinking like a stone. They lost their top scorer Ty Haliburton last month. They may be without their No. 2 and No. 4 scorers today because of injuries as well. They just don't have the horses and the Cyclones have been bad away from home. Iowa State is just

                            4-Unit Play. Take #678 Florida International (-2) over Rice (7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 11)
I think that this is going to be a close game either way. Rice is not terrible. But I don't think that they are good enough to take down Florida International. They are a lower tier CUSA team that has gotten blown out by several other lower tier CUSA teams and I don't like them for the upset here. FIU has been struggling lately. But that's' only because they've been in the top tier of the league and have been playing tight games against good teams like Louisiana Tech, North Texas and Western Kentucky. They are stepping down in class and I think that they will cut loose. They should make enough plays to get this win.

The Panthers played almost a perfect game beating Wake Forest as they shot 57% (only 39% vs ACC for season) and turned the ball over only 8 times. Well the WF defense is the worst in the ACC and only #165 in the country.
