    RECOMMENDED CHOICES
    # 1 APOLLITICAL J WILD 3/1
    # 10 TRES OF HERO 8/1
    # 3 COMBINED 15/1
APOLLITICAL J WILD looks solid to best this field. Must be given a shot based on the respectable speed figure garnered in the last contest. Have to examine solely on class, with some of the strongest class figures of this field. TRES OF HERO - Must be given a chance - I like the figs from the last contest.

Golden Gate Fields - Race #1 - Post: 12:45pm - Maiden Claiming - 5.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $10,500 Class Rating: 65

      Rating:

      #7 BIG FUN (ML=6/1)
      #3 GLITTER LAKE (ML=3/1)

BIG FUN - Last raced at Golden Gate Fields in a race with a class figure of 74. Dropping considerably in class rating this time out puts her in a solid position in today's race. Lasix can take some getting used to, especially for a filly. They usually hit stride the 2nd time using it, like we have with this horse. GLITTER LAKE - I really like it when a horse's last prep is at the same distance or longer than today's outing like this one's is. The 'x-factor' at work here is that this filly has been working over this track getting ready for her first start. Going on Lasix for the 1st time. While a common handicapping angle, it's still quite useful.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 MISS VANJIE NATION (ML=2/1), #4 PERFECT MOOD (ML=7/2), #8 LIVING LEGEND (ML=8/1),

MISS VANJIE NATION - This filly hasn't had any in the money efforts in sprint races in the last two months. PERFECT MOOD - This vulnerable equine will probably need at least one more race after the lackluster showing following the extended layoff. 7/2 is not offering enough value for any entrant in a sprint of 5 furlongs that hasn't finished in the money in a sprint race recently. LIVING LEGEND - Should have at least finished in the money in the last sixty days in a sprint event to be worth the risk at low odds in a sprint. Finished ninth in her most recent performance with a common speed figure. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to triumph after that in this bunch.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Have to go with #7 BIG FUN on the win end if we get at least 7/5 odds
      EXACTA WAGERS: Box [3,7]

#cocacola600 one of my plays for tonights race

Free Play for Sunday: Coca Cola 600 live at Charlotte Motor speedway at 6:05 eastern. Play on Denny Hamlin. Solid value here on Hamlin as he has ranked better than Joey Logano in both long term and recent races at Charlotte Motor speed way. Hamlin has more laps led and ha better numbers here in top 20 finishes and a higher percentage in top 10 finishes than Logano. Overall Hamlin has 4 top 10/s in 6 races and Logano has 3 in 6 races. Based on the statistics we will back Hamlin to have a better finish in the Coca Cola 600. ROB V- GC SPORTS
