    BLAST Premier: Vitality ML v G2 @ 2.00/+100 (2 Units)
-I thought about this one for a while and tried to find a reason as to why G2 would be favored here and I really cannot think of a single sound angle for such a thing. A few weeks ago perhaps I would have said G2 have the better roster across the board but that is not the case any longer. Shox is coming into form for Vitality, misutaaa is starting to feel comfortable and play up to his abilities, and even the likes of RpK is back to fragging well.G2 on the other hand just choked miserably today versus BIG and they don't have a very vocal leader to lift them up after such a thing. Nexa is as confident of a player as anybody, but the same can't be said for the rest of his team. When the going gets bad, it generally stays that way. Comebacks are rare for G2 and they can't hold a lead as shown today. If Vitality gets rolling early there won't be any looking back and it could get ugly.Side note: Maps favor Vitality as well in a BO3 with them permabanning Train. G2 has no exploit pick here with Vertigo. Mirage slightly favors them but Vitality should still be favorites here for the series IMO.

BLAST Premier: NiP ML v MAD Lions @ 1.833/-120 (2.5 Units)
-Another team finding a rhythm is NiP. I liked the addition of hampus as he's the second best Swedish IGL behind golden for me and they're starting to play well with him. This team has the ability for any player to take over a game at any given time and that's important versus a structured team like MAD Lions. They had the hardest series of matches in Dreamhack Masters having to go against Vitality-Astralis-Vitality-FaZe and never once got exposed badly in all of those games.NiP also get a punish pick as their two main maps are Overpass & Vertigo and those are the two go-to bans for MAD Lions. Given them being firm favorites on either of those, they very well should be able to take one of the other two maps in the series as well with relative ease.

ESL Pro League Qual: GODSENT ML v forZe @ 1.80/-125 (2.5 Units)
-Had GODSENT still had Maikelele here, I wouldn't like them. They'd have a huge mismatch in the AWP role going against xsepower. That isn't true any longer since they've added Farlig. He's a very dynamic AWP player that adds a ton of diversity to their playstyle in early-mid rounds alongside Maden.forZe's recent results look decent on the surface but given the recent forms of Complexity/North/OG, those wins don't hold a ton of merit to me.Assuming forZe pick Inferno, that's a strong map for them but overall I still favor GODSENT to win the series more often than not. Closer to 60/40 for me and line is saying 55/45. Edge to GODSENT.

Al Cimaglia: Woodbine Mohawk Park Pick 5 Analysis

      June 15, 2020 | By Al Cimaglia
The 0.20 Pick 5 kicks-off the Woodbine Mohawk Park card this evening. The sequence has a $75,000 guaranteed pool with a 15% takeout and will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

      Race 1

2-Unique Beach (5/2)-Drew off by 4 1/2 lengths on a 5/28 qualifier on a "good" track. O'Sullivan barn has won 2 of 7 after the restart and best to respect.
4-Moxley (10-1)-Chased a 151.3 winner in last and now finds more suitable competition.
6-Gonnahaveonemore (5-1)-Came out of the same race as #4 and had no chance. But can make its presence felt here.

      Race 2

3-Hetalkstoangels (7/2)-MacIntosh trainee is 0-11 but had been facing stakes caliber competition. Looks to stand above this crew, barn has been rolling and is only a clean trip away from a picture.

      Race 3

2-Steuben Hanover (5-1)-Was too far behind P L Matt turning for home but this time doesn't leave from the 8-hole. 4-year-old did race the back half in 56.2, so best to not dismiss in what should be a good race.
4-P L Matt (3-1)-Sharp win in first start off the bench for the Baillargeon barn who has been hot. No reason to overthink this, sharp horse, hot barn so will string along and use.
5-Pikachu Hanover (5/2)-Looked great last week and then didn't. Not sure what caused the break, but it looked like Filion was on his way to the winner's circle. Gets some post relief and is worthy of another chance.

      Race 4

2-Par Intended (8-1)-Got a start in from the 2nd tier at GrVr and should offer a nice price. The post draw helps and could get sucked around and use one big move to roll by.
3-Hes A Sensation (6-1)-Faced a 151.0 winner in 1st start off the bench from the 8-hole and that didn't work out. Comes out of the same race as #5 & #7 and is in the mix tonight.
7-Mach Code (5-1)-Actually had a nice effort last week versus a tough winner and should be a player with this group.

      Race 5

1-Regal Son (5/2)-Raced well last week and kept pacing through the wire. Looking for a more aggressive start this week and to be forwardly placed early in the mile. May have met a beatable field to notch 2nd win of 2020.
2-Sabine Pass (10-1)-Raced from the back in 1st start for the Davis barn. JMac could get this 8-year-old going earlier and barn has won 2 of 4 starts since racing has resumed.
9-Cinnamack (8-1)-Money showed up last week and was used hard before fading down the lane. Camera shy 5-year-old could leave and get a good seat. McNair can work a trip and should be tighter than last week at a better price.

      0.20 Pick 5

      2,4,6/3/2,4,5/2,3,7/1,2,9
      Total Bet=$16.20

        Brian Nadeau's Daily Picks

Tampa Bay Downs - Race #1
#5 Ricky Run Longshot stretches back out and wasn't disgraced behind one of the favorites two-back, when he had a less than ideal trip too, and today he draws much better, will be a big price, and faces a field littered with lifetime maidens; bombs away.
#6 Imperial Greatness ML favorite has the best local form here and will like getting back after facing much tougher at GP, but he's also 0-for-10 and has basically run the same race in his last five here, so there's no upside, or value, in this corner; trying to beat on top.
#3 Odessa Gold Aforementioned runner was 3rd and 6 1/4 lengths ahead of the pick when they met in what was this one's last start, and a repeat would make him tough here, but it was also far and away his best, so a bounce may be coming; underneath only.
Race Summary You need some imagination to use the 5, but this is the type of race where you're supposed to be creative, since the main players are impossible to trust and offer no value, so give the pick a look in all the slots, and to kick off the early Pk5 as well, since stranger things have happened, and a win would completely blow up the sequence right off the bat.
Tampa Bay Downs - Race #3
#6 Handsome Effort GP invader faced much better on the other coast on debut, and while being a distant 5th wasn't anything to write home about, it should have him primed for this; look out.
#5 Silver Sun Dangerous firster for Dale Bennett goes for one of the best barns here, has a slew of solid works, and has main man Morales, and won't have to freak to win this; huge chance.
#4 Dr Parker ML favorite tries turf off a distant 2nd here in his second start, and while he could move up on the grass, and has an experience edge, this price is way too short; tread lightly.
Race Summary That 7-2 ML would be a very square price on a runner who should only move forward off that debut and will relish the drop in class too, so play him aggressively to win and place at 3-1 or better, and make sure to use him in the early Pk5/Pk4 as well, since he's got a lot of positive angles going for him, in a race where he won't have to improve much off that debut to have a big say.
Tampa Bay Downs - Race #7
#3 Geography Tactical sort was a close 4th off the Delgado claim at the level last time, has plenty of upside off just four starts, drew well, and should offer a hint of value too; call to post the mild surprise.
#7 Juan Pablo The favorite will win this if he runs back to the big figure he posted last time, but note that was going 3 furlongs farther, and his shorter numbers aren't quite as strong; scary, but no lock.
#6 Cause for Pardon GP invader gets some class relief, and Hess has shipped a few here to win, so he knows how to pick his spots, though that no-show last time leaves a very bad taste; making him prove it.
Race Summary The price should be right on the 3, and it needs to be as there's no doubt he's looking up at the 7, but there's enough room for improvement to think he can bridge the gap, especially if the chalk isn't as sharp on the cutback, so play him in all the slots, and especially the late Pk5/Pk4 as well, since budget players will be singing 'Juan, which means a win by the pick in the 5-1 range will likely play a lot longer in both sequences.

          Brian W. Spencer's Daily Picks

          Louisiana Downs - Race #2
#1 B's Lil' Bumblebee Ran okay in the debut run against Arkansas-bred company, and something similar would keep her in the mix with these, with any improvement making her a real handful today.
#6 Belmar Beauty Looks like the one to beat after knocking on the door with MCL company at Fair Grounds, but the price figures short, and she has had a couple chances from close range already.
#2 Dreaming of Curlin Owns a touch of finishing ability that should serve her well in here with the majority of those to have run wanting to get trips near the top.
Race Summary B's Lil' Bumblebee has some upside off the debut run at Oaklawn, but she won't really need much of a move forward off that in order to be a threat with the local company.
          Louisiana Downs - Race #5
#7 Pacific Ocean Even sort of debut effort, but that can have him set up for something better this time around, and he probably only needs a bit of a move forward to threaten here.
#2 Mom Said Yes The clear one to beat, but he has had nine chances and tends to settle for underneath shares. Principled stand against on top.
#3 Mega Max Doesn't seem totally out of the question from off the pace, but I'd certainly want better than the 3/1 ML offering to give him a serious look in the turf debut.
Race Summary Pacific Ocean can step forward off the debut effort, and he'll race as a first-time gelding, adding to the potential appeal.
          Louisiana Downs - Race #7
#6 C H Jay Really off form from those last two, but the prior running lines stack up well here. This is an easier spot than he has been seeing in Arkansas, and the price should be right for the first spin on the lawn.
#10 Diplome Owns a handful of back turf races that make him interesting with these, and he's another with a high enough ceiling to win this at a nice number.
#5 Senator Con Rolled when last seen on the main track at Fair Grounds, and his baseline turf effort seems competitive in this one.
Race Summary C H Jay and Diplome both offer some appeal at prices in what feels like a pretty open finale where almost all of them have a high enough ceiling to win this if they show up today.

            Jerry Shottenkirk's Daily Picks

            Indiana Grand - Race #3
#3 Orient Magic Found a good spot when moved to Indiana-bred allowance company for his 1st last year, and he's stayed there with some success; can have the best view of the leader turning for home and should have enough to get past.
#7 Sacred Kiki Bird Was extremely quick in his 1st two at Oaklawn but stayed for 2nd in only one of them and tired in the others; fits very well with restricted company.
#2 Pass the Biscuits Is always in 'send mode' and has some good works for his 1st since November; likely factor on the front end.
Race Summary Orient Magic has been a strong player in most of his Indiana-bred races and can take over when rapid early leaders have little left; well spotted here.
            Indiana Grand - Race #5
#6 Edgemont Road Scored in gate-to-wire fashion at Oaklawn two races back and tired after pressing the pace in his last one; moves to turf and his pedigree suggests he can handle it.
#8 Midnight Blue Note Was competitive some very good grass races at Tampa Bay Downs and can make a solid run vs. these.
#11 Tohui Was good in turf races in Kentucky and has the speed to overcome his outside post; expect him to be a challenger for every step.
Race Summary Edgemont Road should excessive speed in tough sprints in Arkansas and 5F on turf should be right up his alley; expect a solid run in his 1st on turf.
            Indiana Grand - Race #6
#1 Wagon Boss Ran well over on dirt and turf here and tired in his only start of the year, which came at Churchill; he's back to familiar environs and can be a factor throughout this one.
#3 Mississippi During in and drew clear last out at Churchill; has kept some good company and should be able to fight it out to the finish.
#7 Winking At Thedude Was competitive at Gulfstream and often finished with interest; won two races back and was claimed that day by Brendan Walsh barn. Capable of a big effort in his Indiana attempt.
Race Summary Wagon Boss was outrun in a tough spot at Churchill Downs, gets to stretch out for his return and can be expected to improve; has been in the board in 5 of 6 Indiana Grand attempts.

                  # 1 SOFIA'S SLUGGER 8/5
                  # 5 CHARLIE'S GAME 3/1
                  # 2 CEPELINAS 12/1
SOFIA'S SLUGGER looks quite good to best this field. Ran a strong last race. Could provide positive dividends based on decent recent Equibase Speed Figures with an average of 54. CHARLIE'S GAME - Looks very good for the conditions of this affair today, showing solid figs in dirt sprint races recently. Looks very good versus this field and ought to be one of the leaders. CEPELINAS - Has to be given a chance against this group displaying competitive figures lately and an average Equibase Speed Figure of 54 under similar conditions. The speedy return to racing points to a sound effort this time out.

                    Mountaineer Park - Race #5 - Post: 8:40pm - Maiden Claiming - 5.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $6,100 Class Rating: 61

                    Rating:

                    #3 BOURBON MOMENT (ML=9/5)

BOURBON MOMENT - This colt is back in a race very quick. This is a great angle - Sprinters that come back in less than 10 days after a race. A good sign of a sharp and ready racehorse. Was in a $4,000 Maiden Claiming race at Belterra Park last time around the track. That event had an Equibase class figure of 66 and he is moving down in this event. A certain solid contender. I'll bet that this colt even surprised his connections when he made his initial bow on June 4th and finished second. I like to wager on this handicapping angle, a racer coming back off a sharp effort within the last thirty days. Is ranked highest in EPS (earnings per start). A powerful effort right here can add to the lifetime bankroll.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 POSTIMPRESSIONIST (ML=3/1), #6 FRIENDLY WAGER (ML=7/2), #5 GO FOR FOUR FROSTY (ML=9/2),

POSTIMPRESSIONIST - I find it hard to wager on any thoroughbred in a sprint event at 3/1 when he hasn't shown any positive results in sprints in the last 60 days. FRIENDLY WAGER - The Brain tells me to stay away from thoroughbreds in short distance contests that haven't hit the board in short distance races of late. GO FOR FOUR FROSTY - Not easy to back any steed in a sprint race if he hasn't hit the board in a sprint in the last two months. This gelding registered a speed rating in his last affair which probably isn't good enough today.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Play #3 BOURBON MOMENT to win if you can get odds of 1/1 or more

I give my vote to SENTIMENTALJOURNEY here. She has to be given a shot given the competitive speed numbers. Is a contender - given the 55 Equibase Speed Figure from her most recent race. C J S SUZIE BYU - She has been travelling admirably recently while recording strong Equibase Speed Figures. Must be carefully examined given the class of races run lately. LETSBEGREATAGAIN - She has earned very good figs under today's conditions and should fare well against this group of animals.

Handicapped by The Turf Club Analysts

                          Lone Star Park - Race #7 - Post: 4:45pm - Claiming - 8.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $13,500 Class Rating: 83

                          Rating:

                          #11 TIZ SHOWBIZ (ML=9/2)
                          #6 POMPEYANO (ML=8/1)
                          #1 CALL THE COLONEL (ML=4/1)
                          #8 FLASH FORCAST (ML=5/1)

TIZ SHOWBIZ - Taking a trip down the ladder based on class rating points; has the class ability to make his presence felt. I like the piece of information that this gelding's last speed figure, 88, is tops in this bunch. Recent speed figures show dominant pattern of improvement. POMPEYANO - You always have to be on the prowl for revenue generating jockey/trainer combinations; we have it right here. The Jan 25th affair at Sam Houston was at a class level of (88). Dropping down the class scale considerably, so he should be in a good position to win. CALL THE COLONEL - Cowan has this gelding signed up for the perfect race. FLASH FORCAST - Taking a trip down in class; has the ability to make his presence felt. This jockey fits well with this equine. The gelding and Quinonez together win at a rate of 60 percent. The improved speed figs over the last 3 races is solid. Offolter drops him in this event conditioned properly and ready to go.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 HARDLY SEEN SLIM (ML=3/1), #5 CONQUEST TRIUMPH (ML=6/1),

HARDLY SEEN SLIM - This racer hasn't been on the track since May 22nd. Not even any works. This entrant ran a quite unimpressive speed figure last out. He shouldn't improve and will likely lose in today's event running that number. CONQUEST TRIUMPH - Based on the pace scenario in this race, this animal doesn't fit in here. With a single front-runner and this animal having to race from behind, he sure has a tough assignment.

GUEST COMMENTARY: Winston - FLASH FORCAST - This is a great longshot angle. Play the top-rated TrackMaster power-rated horse if he has a morning line of at least 5-1.
