The NBA bubble has not been kind to bigger favorites. My numbers show a 7-11 ATS mark among all favorites laying -5.5 or higher at tip-off. The only other favorite of -12 or higher for the entire bubble – the Bucks when they played these same shorthanded Nets last week -- lost in SU fashion as 18.5 point chalk. I understand that the Nets are resting their key guys today. But the Clippers are on the second of back-2-backs, off a very satisfying victory yesterday; not primed for a ‘let’s stomp them start to finish’ effort here. Too many points! Take the Nets.
