The Golden Knights have carried their end-of-season momentum through the break and they're coming off quite a dominant performance against the Blues. With this being the final tune-up game for these teams and the top spot in the Western Conference on the line, I expect a full effort from two very good teams that are strong in almost all areas of the game. The difference here could be the play between the blue lines, and the Golden Knights' neutral-zone pressure is dominant when they're at their best. I really like the value for the Golden Knights here.

Arizona has lost five of the last six in San Diego and has been horrible as a road underdog, having dropped 10 of its last 11 games. The team's offense, defense and pitching are some of the worst in baseball. Meanwhile the Padres offense is fourth in baseball, scoring 5.36 runs per game. I also like Chris Paddack in this matchup versus Merrill Kelly, who rarely gets any run support. Padres run line is the play.

Mookie Betts had a double and home run on Friday. The Giants have dropped eight of the last 10 meetings. Dodgers run line is the play.

This is a winner-take-all game, and since I have been on the Lightning from the start of the season (I predicted they would be the No. 1 seed), I'm not jumping off them now. The Lightning have dominated the Flyers in recent meetings and have won seven straight. Tampa Bay is healthy, and that makes the team even more dangerous; its second and third lines are better than everyone else's. The exceptional play of Andrei Vasilevskiy will carry this team all the way to the Stanley Cup. The Flyers come into this game a little banged up. Tampa Bay moneyline (-135) is the play).

This is a great matchup and a game that is very important for the Pacers and not so important for the Lakers, who already have the No. 1 seed locked up in the West. The Lakers have plenty of concerns. They rank last in scoring, field-goal percentage and 3-point percentage among the 22 teams in the bubble. Lakers coach Frank Vogel is 0-8 all-time against his former team and figures to have a tough matchup on Saturday since resting some of his starters could come into play. The Pacers' T.J. Warren is listed as questionable, and Indiana will need him down the stretch. The Pacers win this game outright, but I will gladly take he points.

The winner of this matchup gets the Canadiens in the first round while the loser gets the winner of the Maple Leafs/Blue Jackets series. We all remember the Blue Jackets round 1 sweep of the Lightning last season and I bet they do too. Look for them to give it their all for the chance to not play the Blue Jackets in round 1 again.

The Aves beat the Knights both times they played in the regular season, and both games were in Vegas. I like the Aves to take the top seed today.

Zack Godley was entered into the lineup with the rash of injured Red Sox, however he gave up five earned runs in 3.1 IP in his first start of the season. Chase Anderson will be making his 2020 season debut, and he pitched well last season going 8-4 with a 4.21 ERA with the Brewers. There is a lot of unknown without Anderson making his first start which is why the Red Sox are favored, but I like the Blue Jays bats tonight against the weary Red Sox pitching staff.

Frankie Montas has made three starts this season, and although he has pitched well his command hasn’t totally been there with nine walks in 16 IP. Take the value in the Astros at plus money, I expect them to exploit Montas inability to throw strikes.

This would've been a great pitchers duel in 2011 through 2016 but not in 2020. Dodgers lefty Clayton Kershaw was lights-out in his first outing of the season, however we cannot expect that type of performance every game. The 32-year-old Kershaw slipped last year as his 3.03 ERA was the second highest of his career going back to 2008. The Giants' Johnny Cueto has been injured the last two years, logging just 69 total innings. He has not been able to get past the fourth inning his last two games. The Dodgers have already seen him once and were a swing of the bat from knocking him out. Take the Over.
