My numbers see at least 225 points lighting up the scoreboard Friday in Game 3 between the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz, clearing the Over with room to spare. These clubs rank in the top 10 defensively, but their first-round series has been marked by explosive offense thus far, with stars such as Donovan Mitchell of the Jazz and Jamal Murray of Denver leading the way. The Over connected easily in the first two contests (Game 1 went to OT), and my projections have Game 3 doing the same in nearly two-thirds of simulations.

The Nets covered Game 2 from start to finish, and had a great chance to win too. Which makes taking 10.5 points enticing. But two factors are in Toronto's favor when it comes to this spread. Joe Harris is a major loss, and the Raptors should shoot much better from deep than their 25.7 percent mark in Game 2. Lay it.

This spread is a gift. Philadelphia hung around in Game 1, but Game 2 was proof of just how outmatched the Ben Simmons-less 76ers are against Boston. They're feeding Joel Embiid in the post, they're letting Matisse Thybulle defend Jayson Tatum, and they're still getting decimated. There isn't a tactical adjustment to make here. Philadelphia doesn't have enough perimeter defenders to take out Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker. The Sixers don't have enough scoring, period. Boston will take care of business again Friday.

Denver's offense has been one of the biggest stories in the bubble, but its defense has been truly terrible in Orlando. Donovan Mitchell has exploited it in this series and will continue to do so. The Nuggets can't because their big men can't defend guards off of the dribble. They can't drop because Nikola Jokic is a terrible rim-protector. They can't hedge because the rotations break down and they wind up leaving a shooter open. Denver has to win with offense, because it isn't capable of stopping anyone right now.

This has been a great series, dominated by defense and the play of Carey Price and Carter Hart in net. The Flyers have managed just eight goals in five games. Hart had back-to-back shutouts in Games 3 and 4, and will need to come up big if the Flyers are going to advance to the next round. Price will play his best game of the series tonight with his team facing elimination again. The Under is 10-1 in the Flyers’ last 11 games overall and 7-1-1 in the Canadiens’ last nine Conference Quarterfinals games.

They will go up 3-0 tonight. The Sixers are really struggling from beyond the arc in this series while the Celtics have drained 29 three-pointers so far.
