Breakdown

- Two of Europe's mega teams come together on Sunday for what should be a terrific matchup from start to finish. Both teams have phenomenal attacking talent throughout their respective teams and we see nothing but goals taking place here in Sunday's final. PSG have always been a particularly high scoring club, having the record for the most number of goals scored in Champions League competition prior to this season at 3.4 goals on average per match recorded in the 2017/18 European campaign. That record was eclipsed this season as German champions Bayern absolutely blew teams off the pitch, averaging a colossal 4.2 goals per game across all Champions League competition this season. With an average of 3.34 goals per game average scored in the Bundesliga this season also, that number was certainly no fluke, and the Germans come into this team as the most dominant attacking team in European history.

- PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas remains doubtful for Sunday's game and that's a huge hole at the back for the French side as stand-in Sergio Rico is a big drop-off from the Costa Rican international. With Idressa Gueye's absence in the middle of the field as well, such a key force in that central midfield holding role for PSG, the French team will have big defensive gaps to fill which can and will be exploited by Bayern on Sunday. On the Bayern side of the play, they already have a huge hole at the back in the form of central defender Jerome Boateng, who is probably fortunate to find himself out of Sunday's matchup. Stand-in Niklas Sule should find it an almost impossible task to stop PSG's electric front three of Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria here, and goals could come in droves at both ends.

- PSG have been incredibly fast starters of late, scoring an opening goal in the first 30 minutes in six of their last eight matches, and four of those came inside the opening 15 minutes. The Germans are also pretty lively starters themselves, and have scored at least two first half goals in four of their last five competitive matches. We see a fast start to this game as both teams vie for position in what should be a thrilling, attacking game from start to finish here on Sunday.

Quick Synopsis: This should be a very good Final on Sunday and while Bayern Munich are favorites here and have looked unbeatable for most of the new year it'll be a play on PSG at a good price for us. Bayern since the restart have won all 3 Champions League contests beating Chelsea 4-1 then Barcelona 8-2 before a semifinal win over Lyon 3-0 and while impressive I still have some take aways from each of those with Chelsea playing without 4-5 regulars, Barcelona outclassed and about to begin a serious rebuild and a Lyon side that very well could have been up 2-0 within the first 15-20 minutes missing 2 great opportunities. While this could be looked at as fitting a narrative, I see value in a price on PSG that hasn't been available in any of their games to date and likely one that has been overpriced given how Bayern have rolled to this point. PSG come into this with definite talent throughout their starting 11 and trio of Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria up front are sure to give Bayern's backline issues on Sunday. Neymar's roll has seemingly changed from a selfish striker upon his arrival in France to one of a team player now and that's proven with his assist total being the highest in Champions League. The play on Sunday will be PSG at a good price and if they play this as a squad showing no fear against the German giants we'll look to end the season in winning fashion.
