Minnesota was en route to its sixth consecutive victory on Sunday before the bullpen imploded, squandering a 6-2 lead. Michael Pineda worked six strong innings against the Chicago White Sox in his season debut on Tuesday but settled for a no-decision. Look for him to pick up his first victory in the series finale.

Denver continued to show its resilience in Game 2, posting a 110-101 victory to even the series after losing the opener by 23 points. The Nuggets held Clippers star Kawhi Leonard to 13 points on Saturday, his lowest total since an 11-point effort against Portland on Dec. 3. Look for Denver's defense to come up with another strong performance.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets are tied 1-1 in their Western Conference semifinal series heading into Monday. Thursday’s opener proved to be too quick of a turnaround for the Nuggets after outlasting Utah in seven games on Tuesday, but they clearly regrouped for Game 2. Jamal Murray scored 27 points during a 110-101 victory as his team looked more like the same squad that won its last three against the Nuggets to come back from a 3-1 deficit. It is true that L.A. will probably win this game, but nine points are too much to pass up for a team playing as well as Denver. The Clippers 1-4 ATS in their last five conference semifinal contests. Denver is 4-1-1 ATS in its last six overall and 4-1 ATS in its last five as an underdog. Take the Nuggets, but obviously proceeded with caution as you continue to monitor Djokovic’s status.


Game Totals Pick
The total for Game 1 was 221.5 and it has come down to 219 based on the low-scoring affairs that occurred on Thursday Saturday. These two teams took turns finding success on the offensive end of the floor, and it would not be surprising if both find the range on Monday. Game 1 was quite clearly an aberration as opposed to the rule for Murray and the high-powered Nuggets. Kawhi Leonard was 4-for-17 on Saturday and L.A. still exceeded the 100-point mark. You can be sure Leonard is not going to put up that kind of egg in this one. The over is 4-0 in the Clippers’ last four following a loss and 4-1 in their last five playing on one day of rest. It is also 13-5 in the Nuggets’ last 17 overall and 8-3 in their last 11 against opponents with winning percentages over .600. Back the over.

No offense needs the practice and repetitions to be run well like a triple-option attack. Thanks to a truncated offseason, Navy hasn't had the time it normally would to prepare its offense for 2020. That along would be problematic, but what makes it more difficult is that Navy also has to replace the best player its ever had. I do not like BYU laying the points, but there is value on BYU on the money line.

The Celtics should at least be up 3-1, but a clutch three-pointer by OG Anunoby in the final second of Game 3 gave the Raptors their first of two straight wins and changed the momentum in this series. The Celtics are still 6-2 ATS versus the Raptors this season and they only lost Game 4 by seven points with Kemba Walker taking just nine shots and Jaylen Brown shooting 4-for-18 from the field. Look for them to bounce back and pull out a win here.

Marcus Smart has performed very well and he will play a huge part in Boston getting back on the winning track. The Celtics were 7-for-35 from beyond the arc last game and Kemba Walker played horribly. Look for improvements on threes and for Walker to bounce back. Toronto is showing the heart of a champion and has stolen the momentum, but Boston will find a way to win this game late.
