FURTHERINSTRUCTION looks very strong to best this field. Should expect a much stronger effort with the drop. This animal is in the upper half of this group of animals in earnings per start at the distance/surface. Schuster has him trained quite well to break promptly out of the starting gate. LITTLE BLAKER - He should be given a chance given the quite good speed figs. With a competitive 82 speed figure last time out, will clearly be a factor in this competition. TICO THUNDER - He has posted decent numbers under today's conditions and should fare well versus this group. One of the best win percentages between this jock and trainer make this gelding dangerous.

FIONA POWER - When I handicap a grass race, I think sometimes class ratings are more important than speed figs. This mount has the highest average class in the entire field. You'll be generating money left and right by turning your bankroll onto this jock/trainer combination. ST. LOUISE - Rider hops right back atop after getting to know the fine animal by riding last out. That's always a good thing. Took a drop in class last time around the track, running against the same type today. LIL HITCHHIKER - This filly is in good condition, having run a nice race on Sep 9th, finishing third. MACHINE GUN MERRY - Last time, was entered in a race at Belterra Park in a race with an Equibase class figure of 76. Dropping considerably in class rating this time around puts her in a solid position in this event. It looks like Serpa had to 'know' this filly on Aug 28th when riding her for the initial time. Back on board again today. This mount is for real on the turf. TrackMaster turf fig in last race at Belterra Park was tops in this bunch. The addition of the 'shades' should keep her mind on business today.

ASPEN XTREME is my choice. He has been running strongly recently while recording sharp Speed Figures. Trainer has very solid win rate (30 percent) at this distance and surface. Is worth a look and may be a bet - strong Equibase Speed Figs (78 average) at today's distance and surface recently. GRAND OASIS - Ran a sharp last race. He has to be given a shot given the respectable speed numbers. BEAU TRACE - Has performed very well recently in route races, posting a nifty 75 avg Equibase Speed Figure. Has been running solidly in races of this distance, going 2 for 7 under similar conditions.
