Rotation #716
Celtics -3.5 over Heat
We were winners with the Heat in Game 4, but they didn’t necessarily play better. The Celtics were really bad with turnovers and even at the end of the game fought like champions. This series may be 3-1, but this team is not going down without a fight. Tyler Herro had a monster game for the Heat and some of the Boston players didn’t get going until the second half. Boston is well coached and should take this series at least one more game. Take the Celtics

UNDER 60
MIDDLE TENN. @ UT-SAN ANTONIO | 9/25 | 8:00 PM EDT
The lone college football game Friday is from Conference USA. This was only added a week ago when Middle Tennessee lost Memphis off the schedule due to COVID-19 issues for the Tigers. Thus, neither side in this matchup has had much time to prepare for the other. That should favor the defenses. Plus, MT has scored just 14 points in two games this season, blowout losses to Army and Troy. The UTSA defense is among the national leaders with eight sacks and 24 tackles for loss. This total is about a TD too high. Bet the Under at -110. The Under is 10-1 in the Roadrunners' past 11 as favorites.

There's no respect for the Heat even after they've won three of the first four games in the series. Before the series started I had Boston 3.5 points better than Miami, however there was a 1.5-point deduction for the absence of Gordon Hayward. After Game 1 I upgraded Miami a half point and then another after Game 2. If there was going to be a letdown for the Heat it would've been while leading 2-0 and the Celtics getting a boost from Hayward's return. After Game 4 I upgraded Miami a full point, leaving Boston 1.5 points better with Hayward. That is were we are at right now. I couldn't argue that Miami might be even or a point better. Take the points and the value.

Kyle Wright is 2-4 with a 5.74 ERA this season and he has thrown two straight quality starts. Chris Mazza will start for the Red Sox and he is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA this season and 1-2 with a 5.89 ERA in five starts. The Braves clinched the division but they are still playing for the second seed in the National League. The Braves are 18-9 at home as opposed to 16-14 on the road, take the value in the Braves.

Charlie Morton is 2-2 with a 4.64 ERA this season and he has a 3.86 ERA in 16.1 innings since returning from the IL. Vince Velasquez is 1-1 with a 5.46 ERA this season and he is coming off a quality start but he has been very inconsistent. The Rays are still one game away from clinching the first seed in the American League so they are still playing for something. Take the Rays at home.

The first two games of this series pushed on the total, ending on five both times. In Game 3, the Lightning welcomed back captain Steven Stamkos, and he scored a goal on his first shot. He just adds another offensive weapon the Stars will have to deal with. Tampa Bay has done a fantastic job converting on power plays in this series. The Over is now 15-3-3 in the last 21 meetings overall. The Lightning are the much faster team and have created a ton of scoring chances.

The Lightning took control of this series with a huge 5-2 win in Game 3. Tampa Bay welcomed back captain Steven Stamkos and he scored on his very first shot. The Lightning have won seven of the last nine meetings vs. the Stars. With a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in this series, look for Tampa Bay to really turn it up. Andrei Vasilevskiy has been the best goalie of the postseason and is playing with a lot of confidence. Stars goalie Anton Khudobin was pulled in Game 3 and will be peppered with a ton of shots.

The Heat are on fire right now. Expect them to come out and play very loose. They will continue to push the pace. Both teams have plenty of scorers and will gun from three-point range. Boston hasn’t been able to slow the Miami offense and will simply have to outscore the Heat to force a sixth game. The Over is 3-1 in this series and the only time it didn't go over the total, it stayed Under by one point. These two teams can score in a hurry, and both have plenty of bench depth.

The sizzling Heat will look to wrap up this series with another huge win that can put them back into the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014. Miami is both 11-2 SU and ATS in the last 13 games overall. The Heat continue to play great team basketball and the bench has been providing plenty of help. The major difference in this series has been turnovers. The Celtics have been turning the ball over at critical times while the Heat have been cashing in on those mistakes. Miami is also averaging six more shots per game than Boston. The pressure is on the Celtics now, but the Heat have never lost a playoff series up 3-1.

Here the Heat are getting points again after they’ve proven for four games to be the better team, now up 3-1. The last game may have been the best example of the Heat Hustle making an impact. They shot poorly overall at 42 percent and were out-rebounded, but the little things like not turning the ball over and creating turnovers -- only nine turnovers to the Celtics' 19 -- made all the difference. Miami is 11-2 ATS during the playoffs. Heat to cover.
