Kwang-Hyun Kim has been lights out this season in seven starts going 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA. Chris Paddack is starting Game 1 and he has been very inconsistent for the Padres going 4-5 with a 4.73 ERA this season. Neither of these pitchers has pitched in the postseason and the Cardinals were in the postseason last year. This game should be closer to 50-50.

The Yankees have the fifth highest OPS in the league against righties, Carrasco has a 4.04 ERA in 12 career appearances against the Yankees. The Indians are ranked just 24th in the league in OPS against righties, I think the Indians will struggle to score with the Yankees.

Bauer vs. Fried is one of the best first round pitching matchups we are getting considering both are in the running for the Cy Young. However, the Reds are ranked just 25th in the league in OPS against lefties while the Braves are first in the league in OPS against righties. The Braves also have the edge in the bullpen with the fourth best bullpen vs. the Reds 17th best bullpen. Take the Braves in Game 1.
