Pablo Lopez has faced the Braves three times during the regular season and finished 2-1 with two strong starts and one disastrous start where he allowed seven runs in 1.2 IP. Anderson was excellent in his first postseason game, giving up just 2 hits while striking out 9 in 6 scoreless innings. He faced the Marlins twice this season and allowed one earned run in 8.2 IP. The Braves have the highest OPS in the league, I expect their combination of bats and bullpen to take over again.

Charlie Morton will be pitching on 12 days of rest and he is coming off an outing against the Phillies where he allowed three earned runs in five innings. He was 2-2 with a 4.74 ERA in the regular season. Masahiro Tanaka was 3-3 with a 3.56 ERA in the regular season but he allowed six earned runs in his first postseason start again the Indians. He had previously never allowed more than three runs in any of his eight postseason starts. Giancarlo Stanton and the Yankees bats are on fire, take the Yankees.

Jose Urquidy allowed 2 ER in 6 IP in his lone game this season against Oakland. Jesus Luzardo allowed just four earned runs in 12.2 IP in two starts against the Astros this season. The Astros struggled against LHPs during the regular season, but they had success against LHP Sean Manaea yesterday. The Astros bats are red hot right now as they’ve had a different player hit multiple home runs in each of the last two games. The Astros bullpen has yet to allow a run this postseason while the Athletics top ranked bullpen in the league during the regular season, has allowed eight runs (four earned) in the first two games of this series. Take the Astros.

Clayton Kershaw is 6-2 with a 2.16 ERA this season, and he is coming off a masterful postseason performance where he threw eight scoreless innings and struck out 13 batters against the Brewers. He faced the Padres once during the regular season and threw 6.1 innings allowing three runs. In 40 career starts against the Padres he is 21-7 with a 2.03 ERA. Zach Davies is most likely to get the start for the Padres, he allowed four earned runs in two innings in his start in the Wild Card Series. He faced the Dodgers twice this season, and threw quality starts in each of the two starts.

The Dodgers are looking to take a commanding 2-0 series lead. They have to like their chances with Clayton Kershaw on the hill, despite his postseason struggles. The Los Angeles lineup is struggling, but the Dodgers will get in some good at-bats against Chris Paddack. They have seen Paddack before and have hit him well. The Padres have some great hitters, but they all fell flat in Game 1. San Diego will have a hard time beating Kershaw. Play Los Angeles -1.5 runs at -110.

The Rays evened up this series with some dominant pitching and it will take another similar effort to win this game as well. Tampa Bay must try to pitch around Giancarlo Stanton, who continues to hit HRs at a record pace. He smashed two more in Game 2 and is 9-for-26 vs. Charlie Morton in his career with one HR. Masahiro Tanaka is 11-5 with a 3.31 ERA in 21 career starts vs. the Rays. Morton is 4-2 with a 3.83 ERA in 10 career starts vs. New York. The Yankees are not going to strike out 18 times again. The Rays are 4-10 in their last 14 Divisional Playoff games.Comment

For the season the Rays have two wins against Masahiro Tanaka. In one of the wins they registered just two hits (one off Tanaka) but found a way to win 1-0. In the other Tanaka surrendered a season-high eight hits. The Rays' versatility and strong bullpen should give them the edge as they deliver as underdogs in Game 3. Grab the Rays.
