L.A. DODGERS -140
ATLANTA @ L.A. DODGERS | 10/12 | 8:08 PM EDT
Max Fried is 7-0 with a 2.42 ERA in 2020, but he is facing a Dodgers team that he has struggled against. Fried is 0-2 with a 6.08 ERA in his career vs. the Dodgers. Walker Buehler is 2-0 with a 4.67 ERA in three career starts against the Braves. Buehler has been strong throughout his career in the playoffs with a 2.84 ERA across 44.1 IP. The Dodgers had a .778 OPS vs. LHPs this season but they have a .932 OPS against lefties this postseason. The Braves actually have a .687 OPS against righties this postseason despite having the best OPS in the regular season. The Dodgers have won 12 out of the last 17 matchups against the Braves over the last 3 seasons.
NEW ORLEANS -7
L.A. CHARGERS @ NEW ORLEANS | 10/12 | 8:15 PM EDT
Saints coach Sean Payton tinkered with the offense in last week’s comeback win over Detroit. The 25 pass attempts by QB Drew Brees were his third-fewest in 10 years. Expect Payton to continue his new approach and equal or surpass the 42 rushing attempts of last week. Additionally, Chargers QB Justin Herbert is learning the pressure of officially being named starter is much different than proving yourself off the bench.Grab the Saints.

UNDER 8
ATLANTA @ L.A. DODGERS | 10/12 | 8:08 PM EDT
The Dodgers and Braves both are explosive offensively, as they ranked first and second in the NL, respectively, in both homers and runs. Yet, both pitching staffs have been stout in the playoffs. Los Angeles has allowed an average of two runs while Atlanta is giving up one per game. Take the Under.

I've said it before that no sportsbooks should allow a spread to land right on 7 (or 3) because what fun is a push? This line had been Saints -7.5 for much of last week. The Bolts are without top running back Austin Ekeler, and three of their five starting offensive linemen are out too. Yes, the Saints will be missing No. 1 wideout Michael Thomas again, but they should be able to win by 10 or so against a rookie QB in Justin Herbert. New Orleans has been a money team in October for a few years.
