#4 Mistie Royale	Has been landing some underneath shares and didn't miss by much last out, and the price figures to be right again here.
#9 Flying Phillip's	Won that turf-restricted race last time out, but it was a pretty solid turf debut, and she can get a good trip near the top again.
#5 Chasing the Kitty	Drops for this and has a right to be pretty tough with this kind. Her tactical pace will keep her close throughout, but she doesn't always finish with much punch.
Race Summary	Mistie Royale is worth a look at a mid-range price, as she's still bringing competitive efforts at age 11.

Mountaineer - Race #3

#5 Skippy's Strike	Versatile type should be able to get the right kind of trip from close range, and he might prove a really good fit with the local company.
#7 Gold Shield	Cuts back in a big way for this one, and he was an easy winner at this level locally when trying similar in August.
#4 Judah	Forward player has a bit of a rating gear, and he was second-best behind Gold Shield when they met in that common August race.
Race Summary	Skippy's Strike would be plenty interesting at something like the 5/1 ML offering. The Canterbury form stacks up nicely with these, and the local group may be more to his liking.

Mountaineer - Race #1

#6 Ripinandatearin	Hasn't won in over a year, but he tends to turn in pretty reliable efforts, and he can land one of these kinds of races at a square price.
#10 The Catmancan	Reliable type doesn't win often, but he's always right there from close range, and today should be no exception. Chance.
#1 The Tortoise	He tends to be an all-or-nothing type, and I wouldn't be too excited to take a short kind of price on guessing which guy shows up today.
Race Summary	Ripinandatearin can come from off the pace here in a spot where there are no real standouts, and he should offer a fair price again tonight.

#2 Helping Lisa D	Gave way and finished sixth in a stakes race last time and was second in an optional allowance two back; can carve out a good trip.
#4 Gibberish	Got on the front end after a half-mile and finished strongly for an impressive win last time out; can be in the mix throughout.
#3 Sky Chaser	Was an easy winner going one turn at Gulfstream and has not run a bad one in more than a year; solid chance.
Race Summary	Helping Lisa D's last one is a throw out since it was in a much tougher spot and she's more comfortably placed today. Can stalk and pounce late.

#3 Unpublished	Tailed off in a tough spot last time and was an easy winner two races back; has the speed to be a factor for every part of this one.
#6 Elias My Love	Was second in an ultra-fast (1:08 2-5) race last time and can apply pressure throughout.
#5 Reservenotattained	Was third in his last two after a N2L win three back; has run well at this level and can be a factor.
Race Summary	Unpublished is strong when she gets the lead and will probably be sent out there; can be difficult to reel if she gets clear early.

#5 Miss My Macho	Was a good third two back and just couldn't up with fast fractions last time; will stick around for the end of this one.
#3 Just a Bit Sassy	Was an easy winner two back in a race that came off the turf. She's a main-track-only entrant and is the one to beat if this one transfers.
#1 Teacher Drama	Will be a long shot but often finishes with interest and with her best can get a piece of the gimmicks.
Race Summary	Miss My Macho had the misfortune of being in a very fast race for this level and will have a more comfortable trip this time.

Dropping 5 lbs from last race. Could be a deciding factor today. MOON WATCHER - Looking at today's class rating, this thoroughbred is encountering an easier field than last time out at Laurel. A good sign that Farrior tries blinks today and this horse in his workout started from the gate. Should improve. Entered a $10,000 Claiming race at Laurel last time out and raced on a track listed as good finishing fifth. Has to do better right here. DEREK'S BOY - This gelding should give a strong showing of himself in today's affair.
