Laurel Park - Race #1

#3 McCain	Form hasn't quite held up in recent starts, but now he gets into a new barn with some room to bounce back, and the timing for a maiden score couldn't be better.
#4 Joycee Has Pizzaz	Blinkers on for this after a couple of close calls with similar, but the price figures to get on the short side with these in a race he does not have to win.
#6 Trustyourinstinct	Even debut effort could set him up for something better this time around, but he only beat a couple horses home in a short bunch last out and may not offer a fair price.
Race Summary	McCain looks the part here with some bounce-back potential while racing out of a new barn, and his early season races are good enough to score with these.

Laurel Park - Race #3

#7 Flight Map	Faded late in the debut run, but he caught a tough winner in the debut run and can probably move forward here at a fair number on the board.
#3 Street Ruckus	Firster looks well meant for a barn that has been blazing all meet, and there isn't a whole lot in here for him to have to deal with.
#6 Algonquin	Another debuter out of a capable barn, he's bred to be a really good one, but he may be overbet in this spot.
Race Summary	Flight Map has an experience edge over a couple of runners who figure to take some cash, and he draws well to track the splits from the outside.

Laurel Park - Race #7

#3 D Dawg	Has handled a couple of softer groups with ease at Monmouth, and she's still lightly raced with just those two starts under her belt. Chance right back.
#6 Fifteen Royals	Speed is all or nothing and often fades badly late, and she'll have some company here. She can win this, for sure, but not with me at a likely underlaid price.
#2 Tara's Talent	Reliable underneath player might find one or two of these a bit too tough for her, but she should be a fair price to come along late for a piece in the gimmicks.
Race Summary	D Dawg has done nothing wrong through two starts and figures capable of landing a third win in a row at a fair price here as she tries this tougher spot.

Gulfstream Park West - Race #6

#8 Shining Through	Comes in from Monmouth, where he ran against much higher levels; can be tough on this class drop.
#1 Sir Hoski	Ran on well for third last time out and has been working on this condition for a while; needs some things to happen up front and will make up a lot of ground
#9 Bad Boy E.J.	Was a closing third last time and gets a little more distance here; figured well in two of his last three and would not be surprise in this one.
Race Summary	Shining Through takes a significant class drop that should move him way up in this spot; can be much closer to the pace.

Gulfstream Park West - Race #7

#2 Tiz the Dude	Ran off to a clear win last out and can be close to the lead from the outset; turns back from seven to six furlongs and can finish well vs. these.
#1 Zamfir	Was an easy winner vs. maiden claimers last time, takes a big up and can be a threat from the start.
#3 Paladio	Was second at a higher lever last out and can probably get a nice trip just off the pace; dangerous.
Race Summary	Tiz the Dude was sharp in his maiden win last out and has the speed to figure into the pace; talented and ready to win right back.

Gulfstream Park West - Race #8

#3 Valley Date	A search for a price here yielded a good closer in this one. Was good in two of her last three and she is set up for a late run here.
#6 Yako	Was up in time last out and can get another good trip just a stride or two off the pace.
#2 Hoponthebusgus	Won three of her last four and make her first off the claim for Maker, was trained her when she won two during the summer.
Race Summary	Valley Date is sharp when she fires, which is not often, but it looks like she could be very competitive vs. these.
