Why is this game single digits? Because San Jose St comes in 2-0! While the Spartans have beaten both foes the first win was vs Air Force and they got outgained but had the turnover edge and the second win came vs the worst team in the MW, New Mexico, that was ravaged with covid and instead of hosting the game came to San Jose to play it. The Spartans, despite the weak competition still are only avg 83 YPG and 2.9 ypc rushing and is now playing on the road for the first time. LY San Diego St was at San Jose and still won by 10 and not they are the more experienced team with a defense that looks even better than LY's squad.
