Bowling Green got pasted 38-3 last week with new starting QB Matt McDonald completing just 8-of-30 passes for 128 yards and two interceptions. Kent comes in with senior Dustin Crum coming off his best season (20 TD, two interceptions) and engineered a balanced attack last week against Eastern Michigan in a 27-23 win. Last season against Bowling Green, he led an offense that compiled 750 yards (375 passing, 375 rushing) in a 62-20 win. Kent is the play.

I've played this game at +8.5 and +8 today. I like the way Miami (Ohio) offense looked in the opener against Ball State. This is simply too many points in #MACtion as my simulations make Buffalo just -6.1 home favorites. Getting 8 or 8.5 is a friendly number for covering the spread late in this game. Take the points!

The Over-Under is 15-2 in Buffalo's past 17 home games against FBS foes, going Over an average total of 52.7 by nearly 13 points -- so a total of 55.5 for Tuesday doesn't scare me in the least. The Bulls scored 49 points in their opener last week at Northern Illinois and Miami hung 38 in its opener vs. Ball State. With unseasonably nice weather in the Buffalo area, this could go Over by halftime. Long live #MACtion!

Miami (Ohio) and Buffalo opened their seasons with wins, but both gave up a ton of points. Ball State ran up 31 points vs. Miami and now they face a very dangerous Buffalo squad. The Bulls put up 49 points vs NIU in their opener but were gashed for 30 points. The Over has cashed in six of the last seven meetings. The Over has cashed in 10 of Buffalo’s last 11 Tuesday games and is 15-5-1 in their last 21 conference games.
