    #2
    Brian Nadeau's Daily Picks

    Parx Racing - Race #4
#4 Forest River Dangerous speedster cleared early then blew a late open-length lead last time off the Pino claim but that was a much-improved effort, and the 1 1/2-furlong cutback today says he ight not come back; come and catch the pick.
#6 Psychic Energy NYRA-based runner drops stiffly in class for a sharp Kantarmaci barn, so he's going to be trouble if he runs back to the close 5th last time, but this plunge seems a might bit fishy, and the price will be a false one too; backwheel time.
#9 Chief Exchanger Pace presser drew well for his style and if the pick comes unglued again he'll be in the right spot, though he rises in class off a strong win, which means he might have a bit more trouble pulling away this time; underneath only
Race Summary The price and potentially the race flow will both be right on the 4, who has the speed to clear these and should relish the cutback, so play him in all the slots, and especially to end the early Pk4 as well, since he could get brave, and a win would add plenty of value to the sequence.
    Parx Racing - Race #10
#11 Baaqeya Stretch runner catches a field loaded with speed, woke up when 3rd last time, and will be a big price yet again; bombs away late.
#8 Lady Munnings PID runner has a stalking gear that will get him first run, though he's never run on fast dirt, which is a concern; still plenty scary.
#5 Two Carat ML favorite was a distant 3rd against tougher at Mth but won here two-back, though he may get fried chasing; mixed signals here.
Race Summary Pace makes the race and there's a ton of it here, and that could really help the chances of the 11, who isn't out of this off his last and will be flying late, so give him a look in all the slots, and especially to end the late Pk4 as well, since a win would blow up the sequence, and the race flow might give him a puncher's chance at it.
    Parx Racing - Race #1
#1 Earhquake GPW invader was facing better in South Florida and running well before a dud in the slop last time, so on the drop, with new trainer Dominguez, who is a robust 33% with his newcomers, and from a ground-saving post as well, the thinking is this dude is very live; look out.
#2 Dizzy Sight The chalk was a good 2nd in the slop at the level at Monmouth, so that group was likely better than this one, which means he'll be a real handful here, but his nest isn't much better than the pick's, who may improve, and yet this one will be the smaller price; second-best.
#6 Heart of a Dreamer Speedster will try to wire these and the stiff drop in class will help him along the way, though he's bombed in two straight and now hasn't been seen since August, so there are some serious concerns, at what figures an underlaid price as well; tread very lightly if landing here.
Race Summary You're not seeing the 8-1 ML on the pick, but even half that seems fair, considering how potent his trainer is with new additions, and the prior back form this one brings, so play him in all the slots, and to kick off the early Pk4 as well, as he looks primed for a big local unveiling.

      #3
      Brian W. Spencer's Daily Picks

      Mountaineer - Race #3
#8 Capone's Loft No real threat late in the local debut, but he flashed a bit of chasing pace that day and draws well to get a similar trip. Hangs around better today?
#5 Mosby's Ranger The clear one to beat on paper, but he's trying the dirt for the first time at what is sure to be a short price, and I'll let him prove it to me.
#2 Rock Solid Truth Woke up a bit when trying the local company in recent starts, and she doesn't feel overmatched in this spot while stepping up to special weight company.
Race Summary Capone's Loft will offer a fair price with these and should be able to track the splits from the outside. He has some room to improve in this second local try while racing out of a new barn today.
      Mountaineer - Race #4
#8 Lincoln Center She has had a dozen chances, so she's getting short on excuses, but the form stacks up well here, and this might be the right field for her to beat.
#9 Willa Meets a bit softer bunch today while trying the local crew for the first time, but I wouldn't want too short a price on this one after two non-threatening efforts so far.
#3 Stylish Ash Finisher was second with the locals two starts back, and she's got a little bit of back form that hints she may have a bit better to offer here.
Race Summary Lincoln Center is a tough sell with 12 chances under her belt, but this feels like a very soft bunch, and her baseline effort might be enough to get the job done.
      Mountaineer - Race #8
#7 Fancy Fierce Has run some massive races here this year, and she should offer a fair price while drawn outside of a capable, but short-priced, chalk.
#6 Includere Speed has been very sharp with similar in recent starts, but she's coming off a huge try last time out that she may not be able to repeat.
#3 Spice it Up Tactical player should be able to get a decent run of things from off the splits, and she's not entirely out of the question with the right trip.
Race Summary Fancy Fierce gets the call over the chalk Includere, as both look capable, but the former will offer a much better price with a similar trip looming.

        #4
        Frank Carulli's Daily Picks

        Dover Downs - Race #1
#1 ALTAR CALL Avoids main nemesis, tries to upstage series of runner-up finishes.
#4 BLUE DEVIL Chased the favorite in faster division of split race.
#5 RHETT Has loyal following, improved to 3-for-5 with front-end score.
Race Summary Altar Call, second in his last three starts, will try to seize the moment now that three-peater Big Al M isn’t in today’s race. He draws the rail and offers good betting value, so play 1-4 and 1-5 exactas.
        Dayton Raceway - Race #2
#2 IMPAVIDO Lacked running room, finished with some energy on own courage, big price.
#7 KISS ON FIRE AS Rallied for 9 in-the-money finishes in 14 starts.
#5 BENTLEY BLUE Closed into fast pace for third, then led until late at Hoosier Park in follow-up.
Race Summary Taking a longshot stab on Impavido, who showed marked improvement last week. He was trapped on the rail for 3/4s of a mile, angled wide and finished willingly under mild encouragement. Play a 2-5-7 exacta box.
        Northfield Park - Race #3
#2 DELIGHT KATE Mishap at break proved costly, makes amends in second start.
#1 KIDOFMANYMISSIONS Lots of chances, lots of checks, favorable post switch.
#6 WHISKEYFORTHELADY Finished ahead of ‘Kate’ off pocket journey.
Race Summary Delight Kate went off stride at the start, settled into fifth and unwound in the final eighth of a mile, though too late in a heavily-bet debut. Believe he will live up to they hype in second go-round. Play 2-1 and 2-6 exactas.

          #5
          Jerry Shottenkirk's Daily Picks

          Remington Park - Race #5
#14 U S Hero Was third in two of his last three races this year and has been in some fast races for this level; can avoid traffic from the outside and has what it takes for a successful rally.
#1 Uncle Tap Ran evenly last time out and can benefit from an inside trip; has the speed to save position and can be in the mix all the way.
#10 Muni Muni Slew Takes the step down from maiden special weights, which automatically moves his up a ton; his effort two races back is good enough to win this but he beat only two runners last time and the drop seems like a lot.
Race Summary U S Hero will probably be wide, but that's okay if he can avoid traffic jams in his sprint; Birzer with the return call gives him a good chance.
          Remington Park - Race #6
#5 Queen of Carnival Has shown late interest can stay within range of this group couldn't follow through in her first over the strip but can improve here.
#4 Tesuque Scored with determined effort last out and has taken two of her last three; gets back to a mile and will be tough on the front end.
#6 Oratory Glory Was well back in an allowance race on turf last out and returns to more comfortable level and is back to the main track.
Race Summary Queen of Carnival probably needed the start last time and likely will show a turnabout for the Pish barn.
          Remington Park - Race #8
#4 Zippy Chick Ran evenly in both local starts and can improve in her third career start; was fourth on the turf last time and can benefit from the return to the main track.
#5 Wicked Flashback Was second vs. similar in his first local start after trying maiden specials at Ellis; can be strong out front in this one.
#2 Wicked Chocolate Faded vs. maiden specials last time at Prairie Meadows and has a good work going into this; can run along for a piece of it.
Race Summary Zippy Chick can stalk the front runners and can run on through the stretch at this distance; one to hold off.

                Race 5 - Claiming - 7.0f on the Dirt. Purse: $21000 Class Rating: 76

FOR FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES. THREE YEAR OLDS, 121 LBS.; OLDER, 124 LBS. NON-WINNERS OF A RACE SINCE OCTOBER 17 ALLOWED 3 LBS. CLAIMING PRICE $16,000.

                RECOMMENDED CHOICES
                # 4 SEAHAWK LISA 8/1
                # 1 WOOD BEE 3/1
                # 8 NEW JERSEY 8/1
SEAHAWK LISA is the most competitive wager in this race and is a respectable value bet given the line at 8/1. The winning percentage shown by horses entered by Taylor running at this distance are the strongest in this group of horses in this race. This filly looks like a longshot play. She has competitive class ratings, averaging 87, and has to be given consideration here. WOOD BEE - Could best this group based on the speed figure - 77 - of her last race. She has been running solidly as of late while recording sharp Equibase Speed Figures. NEW JERSEY - Looks very good for the conditions of this race today, showing solid numbers in dirt sprint races lately. Earnings per start in dirt sprint races is reliable for this animal.

                  Remington Park - Race #3 - Post: 12:56pm - Maiden Special - 5.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $36,975 Class Rating: 69

                  Rating:

                  #8 DENVER CITY (ML=5/2)
                  #1 SURE OKIE (ML=6/1)

DENVER CITY - This front-runner is running a shorter distance today. Should help his chances to win. Faces state bred foes today after finishing third versus 'open' company on March 15th. Faced tougher in the last race at Oaklawn Park. Based on class ratings, this is a weaker field, so I will put this horse on my list of strong contenders. This gelding's last speed rating registered on Mar 15th is utmost in last race Equibase speed figs. SURE OKIE - This gelding should be at the peak of fitness, this far into his form cycle. Just missed hitting the board on Nov 1st at Remington Park. With decent odds in this field, he has my interest.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 LOVE MY RIDE (ML=3/1), #6 HALLIES DREAM (ML=5/1), #3 OKIE NATIVE (ML=5/1),

LOVE MY RIDE - Not likely that the speed figure he earned on November 1st will hold up in this clash. HALLIES DREAM - Can't play this vulnerable equine in today's sprint of 5 1/2 furlongs. Hasn't even finished in the money in a short distance event of late. The speed figure last time out doesn't fit very well in this contest when I look at the Equibase class figure of today's race. Mark this mount as a likely underpriced contender. OKIE NATIVE - Not likely that this animal will finish better than he did last time when ending up fifth.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Bet on #8 DENVER CITY to win if we can get at least 9/5 odds

                    Race 9 - Allowance - 5.0f on the Dirt. Purse: $18500 Class Rating: 92

FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON FOUR RACES OR WHICH HAVE NOT WON TWO RACES SINCE MAY 17, 2020. THREE YEAR OLDS, 121 LBS.; OLDER, 123 LBS.

                    RECOMMENDED CHOICES
                    # 1 BLACK OPS 7/2
                    # 5 CLASSY CLASS 9/2
                    # 3 UNCLE GOYLE 5/1
BLACK OPS is my choice. Should best this group here, showing very good numbers of late. This gelding looks good in this race since Evans has a strong winning percentage with horses going this distance. Evans has him trained soundly to break rapidly out of the starting gate. CLASSY CLASS - Is a key contender - given the 97 speed rating from his most recent race. Is tough not to consider based on Equibase Speed Figures which have been very good - 87 avg - of late. UNCLE GOYLE - This gelding looks very good here since Kereluk has a very solid winning percentage with horses going this distance.

                      Mountaineer Park - Race #6 - Post: 8:50pm - Claiming - 5.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $7,500 Class Rating: 80

                      Rating:

                      #1 GAME DAY DECISION (ML=8/1)
                      #10 CHROMIUM (ML=6/1)

GAME DAY DECISION - Don't discount that last race. The animal fired out with good early zip, only to drop back and then hold ground to the finish. CHROMIUM - This gelding is in good form, having run a strong race on October 20th, finishing first. A repeat of that most recent performance on October 20th where he registered a speed figure of 80 looks high enough to score in this affair.

                      Vulnerable Contenders: #8 DIONYSUS' CHALICE (ML=7/5), #4 BE THE CHANGE (ML=4/1), #9 IT'S THE JOURNEY (ML=6/1),

DIONYSUS' CHALICE - Hasn't been on the Mountaineer Park oval in the last three weeks. Cause for some concern. BE THE CHANGE - This gelding most likely won't be on the money at the finish line. IT'S THE JOURNEY - Don't believe this less than sharp equine will make a winning move in today's race. That last speed rating was common when compared with today's class figure.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Have to go with #1 GAME DAY DECISION on the win end if we get at least 2/1 odds
