My money is on Toledo to bounce back from that crushing loss at Western Michigan last week with a convincing win on the road against the Eagles. I just think since this line has moved under a touchdown, the value is with the Rockets.
I believe Eastern Michigan is getting some love after covering their first two, but they could have easily failed to cover both. They lost by 4 as a 5.5-point dog to Kent State and by 7 as a 8-point dog at Ball State.
One thing I'm certain of in this game, Toledo is going to have no problem moving the ball and putting up points. Eastern Michigan allowed 212 rushing yards and 219 passing yards in their opener at Kent State. They were lucky the Flashes didn't score more. In their next game they gave up 304 rushing yards and 232 passing yards to Ball State.
I know it's only two games, but the Eagles are allowing 258 rushing yards/game (5.3 yards/carry). They are also allowing opposing QBs to complete 71% of their attempts.
It's also worth noting that this has been a good spot to fade Eastern Michigan off that high-scoring game against Ball State. Eagles are 1-13 ATS last 14 home games after going OVER the total and 0-10 ATS in their last 10 at home after a game where 60 or more total points were scored. Give me the Rockets -6.5!

These teams saw three of four meetings, from 2014 to 2017, finish above the total. The last two have been relatively low-scoring though, finishing with 45 and 46 points. We should see considerably more offense this evening. Through two games, the Broncos have scored 99 points. Themselves. Last week, they came back to win 41-38. The previous week, they won 58-13. While they haven't been able to do so the last couple of seasons, this year's Chippewas should be able to trade points with the Broncos. They've averaged 35 ppg, scoring 30 and 40. Expect plenty of fireworks and consider the Over.

The set-up: EMU is 0-2 and Toledo is 1-1. Both teams have bowl aspirations and each is looking to bounce back. Toledo averages 38 PPG, but its weakness on the defensive side (last week it gave up two late TDs to WMU to fall 41-38.)
The picks: EMU though allows 32.5 PPG, which doesn't bode well facing this high-flying Toledo offense. Finally note that nine of these team's last 13 in the series against each other have also flown "over" the posted number. This one has "shootout" written all over it in my opinion, consider the "over."

Last time out they took a 41-38 loss at Western Michigan after giving up two late touchdowns, and I expect another high-scoring affair for the Rockets when they visit Eastern Michigan at Rynearson Stadium Wednesday night. The Eagles put up 477 yards of offense at Ball State last time out, but still lost 38-31.
