    Brian Nadeau's Daily Picks

    Parx Racing - Race #1
#1 Louie's Law Intriguing sort chased then tired when 5-1 in a very trouble 5th debut, but note the Lasix goes on now, he meets a meek crew, and the price will be right too; look out.
#8 Eddie's Charge Preciado firster goes for s 3-for-9 debut barn, has a slew of works, drew a nice outside attack post, and has main man Sanchez (31% with the barn) up too; do not ignore.
#5 Big Daddy Buzz Del invader was in for a tag twice, but note those were open foes, so this may be a slight drop, and either of those two runs would give him a big chance here; tough to toss.
Race Summary The price should be right on the 1, as the debut was slow, but there's plenty of reason to think it could have been better, and with Lasix going on he should really build off that, so give him a look in all the slots, and to kick off the early Pk4 as well, as a win in the $10 range would add plenty of value to the sequence right off the bat.
    Parx Racing - Race #6
#6 Sunday Inn Major player was 3rd in a very fast race for the level last time, which came off a nine-month break, so she should be tighter here, which means the rest are in trouble; love her chances.
#3 Key Light Versatile miss was closer early last time and beat the pic by a half-length when 2nd, so clearly she figures, though five straight losses and an underlaid price aren't ideal; second-best.
#7 Remain Anonymous PID invader wins this by 5 if she runs back to the big figure 2nd last time, though she could also regress, and her dirt form isn't as sharp, so make sure to get a hint of value; mixed signals.
Race Summary You're not seeing that 6-1 ML on the pick, but even 7-2 or so seems fair on a gal who has a ton of upside and really tipped her hand with that comeback last time, so play her aggressively to win and place if the tote allows, though you could get some added value by keying her in the middle Pk4 as well, since she looks poised to lay down the rest of these might simply not be able to handle.
    Parx Racing - Race #7
#5 Run Happy Run Pino firster goes for a 32% debut barn, and there's a slew of very solid AM drills on display here too, which gives this dude the look of a very live runner; thinking he's primed.
#9 Happy Rage MSW dropper is the horse to beat, as he's faced eons better in both starts, but the Spa dud was a step back, and now he's in for 25k off the layoff, which isn't ideal; tread lightly.
#2 Indian Lake Underlay was a distant 3rd at 1-2 last time, and really regressed off her last three 2nds, so there's a chance he's going the wrong way, yet he'll still be bet; underneath, if at all.
Race Summary Tab the tote on the 5, as you want to see him live and taking money, and if that's the case you can play him in all the slots, though you'll get value by using him in the early Pk4, and to kick off the late Pk4 as well, as he looks well meant, and won't have to be a freak to play with a group like this.

      Brian W. Spencer's Daily Picks

      Mountaineer - Race #1
#3 Great Jazz Showed some life last out when facing the local company for the first time, and she can land another good trip tracking the splits here. Playable at something like the 5/1 ML price.
#2 Vive el Momento Turned in an improved effort when prompting the splits in the slop last time out, and something similar keeps her right in the mix with these.
#6 Profit's Cause Gets into the easiest spot she has seen after a trio of special weight events with better in Kentucky, and the addition of Lasix might be enough for her to show something better.
Race Summary Great Jazz has some positional pace to track Vive El Momento in the early going, and her most recent try stacks up well with these.
      Mountaineer - Race #4
#10 Bad Pay Woke up in a hurry when facing the local company for the first time last out, and she'll be in line for another great trip near the top from this wide draw.
#4 Dilemma Forward player drops, but she has already had a couple chances with similar, so there isn't a ton of upside here on the move in with easier. Chance.
#1 Romantic Jewel Woke up on the drop to this level last out, but the rail draw could prove a little tricky with her forward ability. Think she's there if the top choice doesn't fire.
Race Summary Bad Pay should be pretty tough to get past in this spot. Despite having 11 starts under her belt, she turned in a good effort with better last time out and would be very tough to beat with something similar here.
      Mountaineer - Race #8
#6 Fibertown Tactical player is a good fit with these and figures for another great trip near the pace. Wouldn't want another super short price, but if he's anything closer to the 3/1 ML offering, he's playable here.
#3 Day in the Country Broke through in a big way with $25,000 company when adding blinkers last out, and he should be able to get another good trip near the top.
#4 Tom Not much to argue with from the debut win when sent to post as the 6/5 chalk, and if he's got any move forward in him off that run, he can be tough with these.
Race Summary Fibertown seems like the most reliable type in this group, and he'll get a perfect, first-over kind of run again tonight. Day in the Country might be the right one to complete the Exacta.

        Frank Carulli's Daily Picks

        The Meadows - Race #2
#6 VILLIE MINILLE Up for second behind odds-on choice, can carry her speed the distance in this spot.
#3 IFEELLIKESASSY Much improved try chasing the pace with favorable post switch.
#2 NIOLA HANOVER Seven seconds this year, use underneath in gimmick wagers at 20-1.
Race Summary Villie Minillie won on the front end three starts ago, led until the stretch in her follow-up race, then changed tactics and rallied for second behind the 1-to-5 winner. She should be back on the engine as today’s Best Bet.
        Dover Downs - Race #1
#3 SINGULAR CASE Better than last two appear, best of a bad bunch.
#7 AE WHISTLE Good speed for a half mile, lures Tetrick, price attached.
#4 BOOKIN Six seconds in 13 starts this year, broke stride in latest.
Race Summary Singular Case showed enough in his last two starts to get top billing. He finished well between rivals in the stretch two back after the 1-to-9 favorite fled the scene. Last week, he ranged up on the favorites near the ¾-mile mark and finished willingly against despite being blocked in mid-stretch.
        Northfield Park - Race #4
#8 MADMAN HALL Couldn’t clear, backed into trap, lacked room until deep stretch.
#6 SHELBY COUNTY Would like if not for 0-25 mark this year, believe Wrenn will coax zip out of her.
#4 NOAH COUNT Took money, stayed flat, ran third, has horrific win record.
Race Summary Madman Hall had a nightmare trip as the beaten favorite last week. He was on the move early from third, but took back when he couldn’t make the lead. He was trapped 3-deep on the rail most of the race and was free too late. He has no excuses tonight.

          Jerry Shottenkirk's Daily Picks

          Remington Park - Race #5
#2 Inagoodway Drops to her lowest level after tiring in a very tough optional claiming race; makes her fourth start off the claim by the Young barn and can get back to winning ways.
#1 Rare Poppy Ran evenly going long last time and could be helped along by a quick pace in front of her; can get a piece of it.
#8 River Deputy Ran on for second in the stretch and then held third in a decent claiming spot; won at this level three races back.
Race Summary Inagoodway has spent most of her career running against stronger opposition than this and can have a powerful front-end presence in this one.
          Remington Park - Race #7
#5 Cowboy Cool Ran an even second at this level last time out and lands in a good spot for his first local appearance; comes in from New Mexico, where he was competitive in claiming races.
#1 Geauxcro Made a solid late run for fourth in a quick race and will need to get going earlier; can improve in his second over the strip.
#2 Molleck Has good speed and may not have to run as fast early as he has in his last two; can benefit from the cutback in distance.
Race Summary Cowboy Cool has run well lately have trying strong upper claimers at Oaklawn; can score at this level.
          Remington Park - Race #10
#3 Keena Tired to fourth as the favorite in an open allowance race and comes out of that strong race takes a big class drop for this and the Bravo stable has been doing well.
#1 Undivided Ran on for second last time and steps up slightly in class; ran well in three of four starts this season at Remington.
#2 Much About It Closed from just off the pace and won going seven furlongs; chance to come on well if he can relax going around these two turns.
Race Summary Keena is classier than these and comes out of a good allowance race; should be able to handle this group.

            Event: Sevilla at Krasnodar
            Sport/League: SOC
            Date/Time: November 24, 2020 12PM EST
            Play: Sevilla (-145)
            UEFA Champions League
Sevilla won the reverse fixture 3-2 at home in their last match. After spotting two early goals to Krasnodar with a terrible defensive mistake and a penalty, Sevilla came back with three goals going away. Two of those goals actually came in the 2nd half when they only had 10 men as Navas was handed a red card right before halftime. Even playing with one less man, they still controlled the 2nd half.
For the match, Sevilla took 25 shots with 12 on goal compared to just 11 shots and 3 on goal for Krasnodar, and again, two of those shots, which were scored, were gifted in terms of a defensive miscue and a penalty.
Russia can be a tough place to play no doubt, but Krasnodar are in terrible form right now. They did win at home this past weekend, but that snapped a five game losing streak and six game winless streak including a 0-4 home loss to Chelsea in the group.
Meanwhile, Sevilla have won three straight and were able to contain a very hot Chelsea team, earning a 0-0 draw in Chelsea last month.
While the game is played on the field of course, on paper, Sevilla are hands down the better team here and I think that will show once again on Tuesday, even moreso if they can keep all 11 men on the field for the full 90 minutes. A win by Sevilla will secure their place in the knockout rounds, am I fully expect them to take care of business.

Champions League - Chelsea at Rennes
Quick Synopsis: It’s Match Day 4 and we’re going to look at the Group E fixture between French side Rennes and Chelsea. These teams met on Match Day 3 at Stamford Bridge with the Blues getting a comfortable 3-0 win and can lock up a place in the round of 16 with a win on Tuesday. The Blues are unbeaten in 9 straight including getting their 5th straight win on the weekend and 6th clean sheet their past 7. The offseason summer moves have begun to gel nicely for this side after some early season difficulties. The congested European schedules have them playing 3 big ones in the next 9 days with a premier league battle up on the weekend with Tottenham before a trip to Sevilla next week in what could decide who’s the group winner. They’ll get a breather with a couple easy fixtures after that one so I’d expect nothing short of the best starting 11 on the pitch for each of the next 3 by Frank Lampard. Rennes have struggled and honestly it’s not unexpected. Each year we’ll find teams that make it into the Champions League competition but just don’t deal well with the congested schedule do to team depth. Rennes fall into that category and have now lost 5 of their past 6, failing to score in 4 of them and my metrics in those losses for them aren’t flattering by any means.
The play is Chelsea -0.75 -125 (Split line of -0.5 and -1.0) 3% at -1.0

                Date/Time: November 24, 2020 3PM EST
                Play: Borussia Dortmund -1.5 (-135)
Club Brugge was outscored 3-0 by Dortmund in Belgium on Nov. 4 and has the lead in their Champions League group at the halfway point, pacing F with six points despite suffering a 3-1 loss to Lazio in the first stage of action. The Italian squad comes into Dortmund next week, but the German power must take care of business against their Belgian opposition in this one first and shoud do so emphatically. They want to get 16-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko after 141 goals in 88 youth matches and come off a 5-2 victory over Hertha Berlin. Erling Haaland is in fantastic form and has a healthy Thorgan Hazard to play off. American teen Gio Reyna and England's young star, Jadon Sancho, are also in line for starts. Meanwhile, Brugge has just two draws and a loss over its last three matches and is set to suffer a loss by multiple goals. Lay the 1.5 tallies and ride Borussia Dortmund for this FREE winner.

                          # 7 WIREWIREWIRE 10/1
I've got to go with HIGH CLASS EURO and could score at a price in here. She has been racing admirably recently while recording solid Equibase Speed Figures. Players get an edge when playing this trainer in a dirt route race. INAGOODWAY - She has been running admirably and the speed figures are among the strongest in this group. Has to be given a shot based on the quite good speed figure recorded in the last race. WIREWIREWIRE - Seems to have a quite good class edge based on the recent company kept. Has been moving soundly in races of this distance, going 4 out of 16 under similar conditions.

                            Mountaineer Park - Race #2 - Post: 7:22pm - Maiden Claiming - 8.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $6,700 Class Rating: 55

                            Rating:

                            #8 HALFY (ML=9/2)
                            #10 SHESAROCKSTARTOO (ML=4/1)

HALFY - Ran last time around the track against much better horses at Mountaineer Park. The move down in the class scale should suit her well. Williams and Shilling getting together are a railbird's friend. This filly shows a classic pattern of layoff, two sprints, and stretching to a route today. SHESAROCKSTARTOO - Rode this animal on November 2nd and Cosme is right back in the irons in today's contest. You have to be keen on that last race fig, 60, which is the best last race speed rating of this bunch.

                            Vulnerable Contenders: #4 NANCY KNOWSTHEMATH (ML=8/5), #9 BELLE MAGIE (ML=5/1), #3 STORMIN ROSEMARY (ML=8/1),

NANCY KNOWSTHEMATH - This vulnerable equine hasn't been on the track since October 21st. Not even any morning drills. BELLE MAGIE - This thoroughbred hasn't had nary a single blow out after running so well on Oct 28th. Finished third in her most recent performance with a pedestrian fig. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to score after that in this group. STORMIN ROSEMARY - I can't play this repeated non-winner. Gets the task completed from time to time. This was a fit horse, but now this one hasn't been doing anything in the morning. Have to watch your step with this weaker runner. This less than sharp equine has had no success at Mountaineer Park.

GUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - SHESAROCKSTARTOO - Performance last out was powerful, even though it was a 2nd-place effort. Was well clear of the 3rd horse. My historical data says only a slight improvement is needed today to move up one and into the winner's circle.

Mahoning Valley Race Course - Race #7 - Post: 3:33pm - Maiden Special - 6.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $27,500 Class Rating: 44

                              Rating:

                              #2 KITTENS ADAIR (ML=5/1)
                              #10 BIG PERFORMER (ML=4/1)

KITTENS ADAIR - Have to like the way Egbert has raced this gelding back into shape off the layoff. Equine is well spotted in this sprint and I think he'll run well today. Forgive the off the board finish on the off track last out. On a fast track, has a fair chance in this event. Was in a Maiden Special race at Indiana Downs last time out. That event had a class number of 76 and he is moving down right here in this race. A certain win candidate. BIG PERFORMER - Have to make this gelding a win candidate; he comes off a strong race on November 7th.

                              Vulnerable Contenders: #3 BRILLIANTBENNY (ML=2/1), #4 ADMIRAL GLEN (ML=6/1), #9 SEASONS END (ML=8/1),

BRILLIANTBENNY - Didn't meet expectations when the favorite twice in a row. Not a value play to back the favorite when he continues to lose time and time again when favored. ADMIRAL GLEN - Showed some physical problems in the last race at Thistledown. SEASONS END - Hard to put any cash on this gelding on the win end. Likes to finish in the money though.

STRAIGHT WAGERS: Go with #2 KITTENS ADAIR on top if we're getting at least 3/2 odds
