No word as of now on availability of French for Saint Louis. He missed the first game for the Billikens in concussion protocol and is a game time decision today. French is an integral part of the Saint Louis defense and I'd consider that to be a significant downgrade for the Billikens if he can't go today. Even if French returns, I like the chances of the Tigers here, although clearly not as much. Therefore, keeping this at a 3% level but the play is LSU with the points in what should be a tight battle.

West Brom hasn’t scored a goal in their last six matches. Ok well if you look at their results, they have a 1-1 draw against Brighton last month, but that goal came on an own goal so it’s been since September 26 since a West Brom player actually scored. They have the worst xG numbers in the league by far through the first nine games, averaging just 0.50 xG while allowing 2.00 xGA per game.
Looking at Sheffield United, they aren’t much better at 0.96 xG and 1.69 xGA, but this team finished 9th in the table last year with a 14-12-12 record and an even goal differential and had very good success against the bad teams in the league. The difference this year is just that they haven’t played many of the bad teams yet. So far this year, they have faced Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Wolves, West Ham and Aston Villa who are all in the top half of the table. Only Leeds and Fulham would qualify as bad teams and in both of those games, Sheffield had the higher xG numbers, just didn’t get the result.
West Brom hasn’t had a higher xG number in any single game than their opponent this year and I like the price we are getting on Sheffield to win. You can play this much safer on the 2-way line of +0 for around +100 and if the game ends in a draw, which is a likely scenario, then your wager is a push. But at +190, the price is too good to pass up as I believe Sheffield win this game well over the 35% chance that this line implies they do.
