Laying a bunch of points with a Seahawks team that has had major defensive issues this season doesn't seem like a great idea, but their defense has actually taken a step forward over the last few weeks, giving up only 44 points in a pair of key divisional games in their last two matchups. And they'll get the benefit of facing an offense that has dealt with poor play from the quarterback and offensive line, which makes it harder for the Eagles to get through the back door late. The Eagles defense also hasn't given up many points lately, but the Seahawks are a different beast than the Giants, Cowboys and Browns. Seattle should be able to win this game by at least a touchdown.

Seattle is 9-0 OU since December 2016, when it held each of its final two opponents to fewer points than expected, as long as it did not cover both games by two TDs. Seattle also is 13-0 OU versus a non-divisional opponent when it's coming off a home win in which its QB threw at least 20 passes and had fewer than 10 incompletions. As for the Eagles, we see they are 15-0 OU at home during the regular season after a loss by fewer than 41 points as an underdog in which they committed multiple turnovers and forced five or fewer punts.

Well, I'm going contrarian here. All my cohorts so far have picked Seattle and I totally understand why. But the Seahawks have looked largely terrible in their past three road games and are being a bit overvalued simply off beating Arizona in my opinion. The Cardinals proved Sunday they aren't that great. Even the SportsLine Projection Model says to take the points (I'd recommend buying to +7 to be safe but don't think it will get that high on its own). So we will.

They face a Seahawks squad that has found its rhythm and mojo on the defensive side of the ball, thanks to the addition of former Bengal DE Carlos Dunlap. Look for that Seattle defense to have a repeat performance of last year's Wild Card playoffs, and keep the Eagles grounded in Philly.

I am looking for a very high scoring game and I think that these two teams will combine for over 160 points. North Carolina always plays at a fast pace. This is a team that likes to run and gun. They have some very talented guards that want to get out in the open floor. I think that they will be able to do that against a UNLV team that allowed 91 points in its opening game to Montana State! The Rebels don't have the size on the inside to keep UNC out of the paint and I think that North Carolina is going to be able to get good shots all night. The 'over' is 7-3 when the Tar Heels face a team that is below .500 and the 'over' is 11-5 when UNLV plays after a double-digit home loss. The 'over' is 19-7 in UNLV's last 26 games after a loss. Take the 'over' in this one.

7 Unit Play Take #851 Bowling Green -2 over Appalachian State (6:00pm est):

Money has came in on Bowling Green and I agree with this move as they look to be the better of these two teams overall. BGSU is a veteran group that returns four of it's top five guys from last year all of who are upperclassmen. I am looking to back more experienced teams early on this year due to all the chaos with Covid-19. This is a team that started out the season last year with a 17-5 record and at times were ranked in the top 100 at Kenpom.

Appalachian State is a program that's not been ranked better than 175th to end a season at Kenpom in the past decade including posting just one winning season since 2011. They are currently ranked 186th but I am not seeing that as they lost 3 of their top 5 guys from last season to graduation.

Play Bowling Green in this one. Having another solid winning year betting on football this season, my 5th straight year showing profits on the gridiron. Join the winning as we still have lots of winning action left this year.
