Mick Cronin returns all of his starters from last year and this UCLA team picked up Johnny Juzang who came over from Kentucky. Marquette is in a rebuilding year after losing Markus Howard who was the top scorer in BIG East history. Gone also for the Golden Eagles is Sacar Anim. Marquette returns two starters and has a couple of good role players, but I don’t think they will be able to compete with a veteran UCLA team this early in the season. The Golden Eagles are not a great defensive team so I expect UCLA to use their size . Marquette has a couple of really good freshman forwards, but I just don’t think they are there yet as a team to compete on the road against a UCLA team that will again compete for tops in the PAC 12. Take UCLA.
