3-Unit Play. #307045. Take Texas Southern +14.5 over Auburn (Tuesday @ 7pm est)
Per this play, Coach Johnny Jones Southern team won 16 games last year and 24 the year before, they have nearly all upperclassmen of seniors and juniros and they are agood team and they lost by 12 to St. Marys which is tough to do and Auburn is still extremely young whereas Southern knows its offense and defense very well and they are not going through growing pains. Also, Southern is a top 125 team in turnover percentage and Auburn has a tendnecy to be very loose with the ball and I think Southern will be competitive here and hang tough here against Auburn. Nice 2-1 day yesterday, let's simply do that again today and keep rolling. We were close to a 3-0 sweep, let's look to duplicate the 2-1 day today. Note, we have won 4 of 6 days in CBB. The NBA Starts in 7 Days and we posted +9200 last year and we are ready for another big season this year, we can't wait for you to join us. Rich Barnes is not a fool and he will not take this App State team lightly here. He faced them in 2016 and App State dropped over 90 points on them and Tennessee had to score over a 100 points to win. Tennessee only shot 2/14 from 3 point land in their last game and they will shoot better here, they know App State is a good team and this is the weakest defense they faced all year after facing top 30 defenses of Colorado and Cincinnati and I think they bust out here on offense.

3-Unit Play. #612. Take Virginia Tech -2 over Clemson (Tuesday @ 6:30pm est)
Clemson held Alabama to just 1 point in the final 6 minutes and Alabama did not score in their last 10/11 possessiosn and I don't see them doing that to Virginai Tech here who beat this team by 12 and 7 points last year. Yes, Clemson has revenge but Mike Young has Bronwell's number here and Penn State shot 12/23 from 3 point land which is what did Va Tech in and Clemson does not shoot the ball nearly as well and Va Tech shot 6/22 from 3 point land. Va Tech comes back home, is angry at the Penn State loss and will play much better and likely get it done here today.

At first glance, you probably see a mismatch of two teams who play in very different conferences. But if you look closer, you will see a Loyola-Chicago team that won 21 games last year, return all 5 starters, and whom some are saying is as talented at the Loyola-Chi team that went to the Final Four in 2018. Last year’s squad shot 49.7% from the field, and they have added two transfers, one from Indiana and another from Oakland, who 40+% shooters from the 3pt line. I realize they are playing the returning Big 10 Champions in Wisconsin, and playing AT Wisconsin to boot, but being the home team isn’t that big of deal this year when you don’t have crowds. Also, I believe this much smaller school will be motivated to try and knock off a team from the Big 10. It won’t be easy, as Wisconsin returns most of their key guys from last year, but Loyola-Chicago looks to match up well.

7-Unit Play. Take #611 Clemson (+2) over Virginia Tech (6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15)

I love the Tigers in this matchup. This is a very good Clemson team. With North Carolina and Duke struggling this Clemson team could be one of the top teams in the ACC by the end of the season. They are undefeated so far this year and have played a very good schedule and beat quality opponents from the Big Ten and the SEC. I think that the Tigers will want to get off to a strong start in their ACC opener. Virginia Tech is coming off an 75-55 blowout loss to Penn State last week. Clemson is better than that Penn State team and I think that they could do the same thing in this game and win this one by double digits. The Tigers are 6-0 ATS in their last six games and 5-2 ATS as a road underdog. Virginia Tech is just 5-16 ATS in its last 21 games and they are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games as a favorite. The Hokies are just 3-7 ATS as a home favorite and they are just 1-4 ATS in their last five home games overall. Virginia Tech won both meetings last year. Only one time in the last 20 years of this rivalry has one of the teams won three straight in this series. I don't think the Hokies will make it three in a row here. Look for Clemson to get the win outright. Take the Tigers.

They have also gone up and over the total in five of their last seven on the road where they faced a team with a winning record at home and they are 6-2 to the over in their last eight versus a team with a winning % of .600 or higher. Alabama has been an over team as well in the spot they are in here tonight as they have gone over the number in five of their last six following a straight up loss and they are an impressive 5-2-1 to the over in their last eight where they faced a team with a winning % of .600 or higher. Throw in the fact that Bama is also 11-5 to the over in their last sixteen home games, along with the fact that both teams are putting up impressive offensive numbers (Furman 81.7 PPG, Alabama 75 PPG) and the over is where we'll have our play as we think both teams are going to get up and down the court in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday night.
