Analysis: My math model only favors Kansas State by 9.65 points in this game and the Wildcats are a money-burning 0-6 ATS in their last six home games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games off a double-digit home loss, and 1-6 ATS in their previous seven games overall. Head coach Bruce Weber finds himself in the second year of a rebuilding process after losing the most successful senior class in school history in 2018-19. Complicating matters for Weber is the fact that he lost his top three scorers to either graduation or transfer, leaving just one player from the 2019 Big 12 Conference title team. Sophomore forward Montavious Murphy, who appeared in nineteen games last season, is sidelined with an injury. Redshirt sophomore Kaosi Ezeagu, who started his collegiate career at UTEP, joins Murphy on the injury list. Promising freshman Luke Kasubke is also out for the Wildcats. With Kansas State standing at 3-13 ATS after failing to cover the Vegas number in two of its last three games, take Jacksonville plus the points and invest with confidence.
