The set-up: The Bucks are 1-2, most recently coming off a blowout loss to the Knicks in New York. Milwaukee has uncharacteristically struggled on the defensive end in the early going, but I expect the team to put an added emphasis on that end of the floor this evening as it looks to get back on track against the defending Eastern Conference champions.
The pick: Miami hasn't looked particularly great either to open the season, and it'll have to play this game without the services of star Jimmy Butler. The Heat's strength has been their defense, conceding just 105 PPG so far. Without Butler in the line-up, the last thing the home side will want to do is to turn this into a "track meet" with the high-flying Bucks. I expect a hard-fought, but ultimately lower-scoring affair between these two Eastern Conference heavyweights. Consider the under.

I'll take my chances here with Orlando as a short road favorite against the Thunder on Tuesday. The Magic come into this contest 3-0 SU and 3-0 ATS. Not many people were talking about this Orlando team coming into the season, but I don't think the hot start is a fluke at all.
They got two guys averaging 20+ points in Terrence Ross (23.3 ppg) and Markelle Fultz (20.7 ppg). They have 3 other guys in double-figures with Evan Fournier (19.0 ppg), Nikola Vucevic (17.3 ppg) and Aaron Gordon (13.0 ppg). I also like what I've seen out of rookie guard Cole Anthony (9.0 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 4.7 apg in just 18.3 min/game).
They come into this game ranked 5th in the NBA in pace and are also 5th in offensive efficiency. They are the only team in the Top 5 of both categories and the only other team in the Top 10 in both pace and off. efficiency is the Pacers.
With Oklahoma City playing on no rest after last night's crushing 109-110 loss to the Jazz, I just don't see the Thunder keeping pace. OKC is a bit challenged offensively. I mean they only scored 110 points and shot 47% from the field and were 15-38 (40%) from 3. Give me the Magic -5!

I will lay it here with the Magic. I think this team is extremely underrated right now and it's no fluke to me that they are undefeated so far. We all know the thunder will literally be maybe the worst team in the league when the season ends. They have covered both games which has them a tad over valued right now.
