We played against the 76ers last night at Atlanta as a 6-point dog, as expected a depleted Philadelphia team struggled to even make it competitive in a 94-112 setback. You might be wondering why I would be looking to switch gears and back the 76ers on no rest tonight?
That's because the Heat are in an even worse situation because of Covid. Miami will be without Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic, Kendrick Nunn, Udonis Haslem, Maurice Harkless, Avery Bradley and potentially a few others.
While there's a long list of 76ers out for this game, one key could be returning, as Ben Simmons is listed as questionable. It's also important to note that Embiid only played 23 minutes last night, so it's unlikely he sits. Philadelphia has also been getting some great production out of Tyrese Maxey and Dakota Mathias. Give me the 76ers -4!

We will back Brooklyn at basically a pick'em on their home floor against the Nuggets. I really like this spot for the Nets, who will be highly motivated after an ugly 116-129 loss at home to OKC on Sunday. That loss was more on a lack of effort defensively than anything. As for the Nuggets, they come in having won 4 of their last 5, but two of those were against the Timberwolves without KAT, they also had a win over a depleted 76ers team and the other was against a struggling Knicks team. They still only went 2-3 ATS in those 5 games and are just 3-7 ATS for the season. This will also be Denver's 3rd game in 4 days all on the road. Bet the Nets -1!

The Cavs have dropped back-to-back games and will be hard-pressed to get back on track in this spot as they host the 6-4 Jazz. Utah has won consecutive games in Milwaukee and Detroit. With a win tonight it can lock up a winning road trip with one game left in Washington tomorrow night. I expect that game against the Wizards to be the more competitive affair. Here on Tuesday look for the Jazz to build on their recent positive momentum and cast aside a Cavs squad that I don't believe is as good as its near-.500 record would seem to indicate. The set-up: These teams played here on Sunday and the Lakers came out on top by a score of 120-102. Houston was poor in defending the three-ball on Sunday, and it committed a plethora of turnovers. LA will bide its time all year, looking to avoid injury, as it looks to set itself up for another deep playoff run and title defense. The Rockets have plenty of issues on and off the court and note that they're just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a double-digit home loss.
The pick: The Lakers on the other hand are a scary 5-1 ATS in their last six after allowing 100 or more points in their previous outing. That's bad news for the undermanned Rockets in my opinion. Consider laying the points on the champs Wednesday night.

The Wildcats got off to an unthinkable 1-6 start to the season, but it a slow start was to be expected given the influx of young talent that Kentucky had and the absolutely brutal schedule they played. You had to think it was just a matter of time before this team got their confidence and this has looked like a different team since the calendar switched to 2021. Kentucky has won 3 straight and are coming off their best showing of the season in Saturday's 76-58 blowout win on the road against Florida. The Crimson Tide have been playing great, but this is just too good a price to pass up on the Wildcats at home. Play Kentucky -1.5!

The Golden State Warriors are feeling pretty good about themselves right now. They have gone 6-2 SU in their last eight games overall with Steph Curry showing he can shoulder the load as the lead dog. They are coming off two straight impressive wins over the Clippers and Raptors and want to end this seven-game home stand with one final victory.
This is an awful spot for the Indiana Pacers. They will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and their 3rd game in 4 days after losing a 122-127 shootout in Sacramento last night. That came after a 117-125 shootout loss to the Suns on Saturday.
The Pacers were already without T.J. Warren due to injury, and now they are going to be without Victor Oladipo, who is doubtful due to rest. That's two of their top four scorers as Oladipo is averaging 20.0 PPG and Warren 15.5 PPG. Brogdon and Sabonis are going to have to shoulder the load tonight, and that's a lot to ask to considering Sabonis played 40 minutes last night while Brogdon played 38 minutes.
Plays on all teams where the line is +3 to -3 (Golden State) - after beating the spread by 36 or more points total in their last five games, against an opponent that went over the total by 24 or more points total in their last three games are 43-16 (72.9%) ATS over the last five seasons.
