PHILADELPHIA -1.5
ANALYSIS: Philadelphia is a real matchup problem for any opponent. The Flyers are strong offensive team that is very physical and has plenty of depth. Philadelphia dominated the Penguins in the first two games of the season, outscoring them 11-5. The Sabres haven't played well at Philadelphia, losing 14 of the last 17 road matchups. Buffalo is 2-10 in its last 12 Monday games while the Flyers have won seven of their last eight Monday games.

4% Carolina Hurricanes -115 Hurricanes off an upset loss to Detroit, although Carolina pretty well dominated territorially. This is one of the better teams in the league and I don't expect them to suffer many losing streaks. Nashville is off to a 2-0 start with back to back wins over Columbus. They probably ought to be 1-1 and I am not high at all on this season's Predators. The oddsmakers aren't either as they've installed my side as road chalk. But it's a very affordably favorite price and I'm banking on the better squad to be on fire off kind of an embarrassing loss. Hurricanes to grab the two points.
3% Baylor -8.5 Simply stated, Baylor is one of the two best teams in the country. And along with Gonzaga, I don't think there's anyone all that close to that top two. I've got Gonzaga and Baylor more than four points better than anyone else. Kansas, while still a very strong squad, is ten points away from the Bears and that's a neutral court rating. While home courts are obviously not what they usually are in the current state of affairs, it's still at least a coupe points and in some cases maybe a little more. Baylor lost just one home game last season, and it was to Kansas. In fact, the Jayhawks have won the last couple visits to Waco. I think that matters here as Baylor will be keyed up for this game. Matchup advantages are with the hosts as well. I expect this to be competitive for awhile but I see the Bears eventually pulling away and winning by double digits. Baylor minus the points.
