BLUE LIZZY - No need to look any further. This racer has my cash. Way too much pace. This racer could be tough this time, especially since Gomez rode last out and now should be familiar with this one. I'm focusing on the class of this fine animal, and this one is the 'classiest' of the bunch. This horse coming off a sharp try in the last thirty days is a win candidate in my book. WILLING TO BURN - When this jockey and trainer work together you have to take a look. Mawing and McCartney have been fantastic together. In this race here, this fine animal has notched the highest Equibase speed fig at the distance, so I have to give her the edge. I like the piece of information that this filly's last rating, 72, is tops in this group. A repeat try from any of last 3 races, and this one should be in 'victory lane'. GRAZEN VALOR - Jockey hops right back aboard after getting to know the horse by riding last race out. That's always a positive sign. I like to wager on this handicapping theory, a pony coming back off a strong outing within the last thirty days. When I handicap a race on the turf, I think sometimes class ratings are more important than speed figs. This thoroughbred has the highest average class in the entire group.
