ST. LOUIS -185
ANALYSIS: These teams played Monday in St. Louis and the Blues won 5-4. The Sharks could be a bit on fumes as they are in the fourth game of an eight-game road trip. Martin Jones gets the call in net tonight (he didn't Monday), and he was terrible last time out, getting pulled at Arizona. Blues forward Sammy Blais is eligible to return to the lineup after serving a two-game suspension. That helps the depth a bit. Including the playoffs, the Blues have won six straight against the Sharks. It's an easy way out to take St. Louis at this moneyline price, but I also don't trust them to win by more than one goal; nor do I trust the Sharks to NOT lose by more than one.

PHILADELPHIA -4.5
ANALYSIS: There are a few reasons I like Philly here other than being at home -- which matters little these days. Joel Embiid will play after sitting out the weekend. Seth Curry will play for the first time in a couple of weeks, and the Sixers are 7-1 when he does take the court this year (see news feed story). Meanwhile, Boston is without superstar Jayson Tatum still in COVID protocols and surely will keep the minutes limited of Kemba Walker after he debuted Sunday off knee surgery. Oh, the Sixers will want payback for the playoff sweep at the hands of the rival Celtics in the Orlando bubble, too.
