ANALYSIS: I believe there's a reasonable chance the Ducks win here because Colorado is playing the second of a back-to-back after losing 4-2 at the Kings on Thursday. The Avs played that without winger Andre Burakovsky (three points in two games) due to an upper-body injury and he most likely won't play here. The Ducks have just one victory but have played three straight one-goal games and No. 1 netminder John Gibson has been very good. I simply can't turn down a solid price of -150 for a home team getting 1.5 goals.

We like the Suns because they are 9-1 ATS in their past 10 at home, the Nuggets have failed to cover six straight as underdogs, and due to the fact Jamal Murray is playing through a bruised shooting elbow that he admits bothers him every time he shoots. In the past three games, he's 19-for-55 from the field.

Look for Christian Wood to have a huge game in his return to Detroit against a Pistons team that should not be trusted as a favorite. Detroit has not been favored often recently, and things have not gone well in the games in which the Pistons have been favored. They are 0-7 ATS since Jan. 7, 2020, as a favorite when the total is less than 230.
