ANALYSIS: This screams trap game for the Lakers in my mind. They are off a thrilling last-second win at rival Boston on Saturday and it's the end of a grueling seven-game road trip through the Eastern Conference. The Lakers also are listing both LeBron James and Anthony Davis as questionable -- while they always do that, it's possible one of them sits (see news feed story). Davis has a legit injury that cost him one game last week. Atlanta, meanwhile, is well-rested as it hasn't played since thumping the Wizards on Friday. The Hawks have covered their past five at home, while the Lakers are 0-4 ATS in their past four.

ANALYSIS: These schools played Sunday in Evansville and the Purple Aces won 70-52, leading wire-to-wire, yet the spread is only 2 points? It was -1 yesterday. Evansville shot 60.4 percent from the field, the first time Valpo allowed an opponent to shoot over 60 percent since Dec. 3, 2019 at Eastern Michigan. The Aces were 23-of-30 (76.7 percent) on two-pointers. That's not going to happen again, but Evansville should still win by more than two. The Crusaders are 3-7 ATS in their past 10.

ANALYSIS: Vancouver carries a four-game winning streak into this one, but Braden Holtby was in net for only one of those -- and he will start Monday. Holtby has allowed nine goals on 68 shots in two games vs. Montreal this season. The Habs' Carey Price was a bit better in his two vs. the Canucks. Good news for Montreal as well in that winger Josh Anderson will play. He left Saturday's game with flu-like symptoms but was negative for COVID. Anderson is second on the team with four goals. Montreal is 6-1 in its past seven at home in the series.
