The Blue Jackets have been a bit lucky thus far with its 2-2-2 record. Columbus ranks 25th in 5x5 xGF%, being outscored 18-15 at full strength. Nice value here on the road underdog.

The set-up: From a situational standpoint, I think this one sets up great for the home side. The Panthers had their first two games postponed this year due to COVID related issues, and then they just had their last two games postponed as well. In between they won two games over the Blackhawks, scoring five goals each time. Columbus on the other hand enters off an impressive 5-2 win over the Lightning and there's no reason not to believe that it can't carry that momentum over here.
The pick: The Panthers are also just 2-5 in their last seven as a road underdog. Take note as well that Columbus has completely dominated this matchup on home ice the last few seasons, going 14-2 the last 16 in the series here. Look for that strong trend to continue in this favorable home matchup.

With David Pastrnak sidelined due to injury and Torey Krug suiting up for the St. Louis Blues, a lot of bettors seemed to be down on the Bruins entering the season. Boston has seemingly gotten stronger with each passing game, however, and enters this contest off back-to-back victories over the Flyers. I look for the B's to continue their winning ways against a banged-up Penguins squad on Tuesday. Pittsburgh delivered consecutive wins over the struggling Rangers over the weekend. It came at a cost, however, as the Pens have lost a number of key cogs to injury. They'll garner the Bruins full attention on Tuesday night. Take Boston (8*).
