    NCAA-B | Villanova vs St. John's
    Play on: UNDER 151 -110

#705/706 ASA FREE PLAY ON Under 151 Points – Villanova @ St Johns, Wednesday at 9 PM ET - This total is too high in our opinion. It’s the 2nd highest total Nova has faced since December 1st and the first was vs a St Joes team with a bad defense (241st in defensive efficiency) back in mid December. This may be set a bit high based on the Wildcats most recent game which was an 80-72 win over the weekend vs Seton Hall. That final was very deceiving as the two teams had 133 points with just 40 seconds remaining and scored 19 points from that point on. Nova is the #1 defensive efficiency team in the Big East and one of the slowest tempo teams in the nation (326th). St John’s wants to play fast but we anticipate the Wildcats controlling the tempo here as they do not want to get in an up and down game with the Johnnies. As fast as St Johns plays, they have only topped 150 points in 4 of their 11 conference games and those games were vs Creighton & Georgetown (2 games each) which are 2 of the fastest paced teams in the Big East. This has been a lower scoring series as of late with the last 4 meetings going under and this is the highest posted total during that stretch. The average total points scored between these 2 over the last 4 meetings was just 138 points. We like the UNDER tonight.

The UNDER (140.5) is worth a look in Wednesday's Big 12 college hoops action between Oklahoma State and TCU. Both of these teams are coming off grueling games this past Saturday in the SEC/Big 12 showdown. The Cowboys barely escaped with a 81-77 home win over Arkansas, while TCU lost a heartbreaker in OT on the road to Missouri. Prior to that game the Horned Frogs hadn't broke 70 in 6 straight games and no more than 51 in their previous 3. I just don't think TCU will provide enough to push this past the number. Play the UNDER 140.5!

The Key: The Georgetown Hoyas have a poor record at 4-8 this season, but they have been competitive and should not be catching 14 points to Creighton tonight. The Hoyas haven't lost a single game by more than 13 points all season. That includes a 9-point loss to WVU, a 13-point loss to Villanova, an 11-point loss to Seton Hall and a 5-point loss to Syracuse. They can hang with Creighton tonight. The Bluejays have recent upset losses to Butler and Providence, two of the worst teams in the Big East. They also only beat DePaul by 7 and needed a huge comeback to beat Seton Hall by 4. They also only beat UConn by 8 at home. That's their last 5 games, so they haven't won any of those by more than 8 points. Creighton is 1-4 ATS in its last five games. Take Georgetown.

            NCAA-B | Villanova vs St. John's
Play on: St. John's +10 -105 at BetCris

My free play is on St John's at 9:00 ET.
The No. 3 Villanova Wildcats improved to 11-1 overall and 6-0 in the Big East with a hard-fought 80-72 road win over Seton Hall on Saturday. Villanova is the lone remaining undefeated team in the Big East and the team's LONE loss of the current season came back on Nov 28 in Uncasville, Ct, an 81-73 overtime setback against Virginia Tech. While Villanova will be looking for its 10th consecutive victory, St. John's welcomes the Wildcats to Queens on Wednesday night searching for its FIFTH straight victory. The Red Storm edged Marquette 75-73 Sunday, improving to 11-7 overall and 5-6 in the Big East. They've already matched their total amount of conference wins from last season in only 11 games.
Villanova has built its winning streak even with four separate pauses for COVID-19. Injuries to a couple of key reserves, most notably Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree, have limited the team's depth. That said, 'Nova has an excellent trio of guards in Gillespie (15.5 & 4.7 APG), Moore (13.5 & 5.0) and Daniels (11.0). The 6-9 Robinson-Earl (15.5 & 6.6) led the way in the win over Seton Hall, scoring 23 points despite being in foul trouble. The 6-9 Samuels (7.1 & 3.4) has elevated his play, scoring 15 of his 17 points in the second half against the Pirates, one week after being named Big East Player of the Week.
6-8 swingman Julian Champagnie (19.8 & 6.8) paced St. John's with 22 points and seven rebounds against the Golden Eagles (he has scored at least 20 points in seven games this season), while PG Posh Alexander (11.0-3.6-4.4) added 15 points and a season-high six steals. The Red Storm will miss guard Williams (10.9), who is out with a back issue, but Cole (10.1) and Dunn (8.1) are solid backcourt performers. The 6-10 Moore adds 9.0 & 4.9.
St John's is 7-2 SU at home and is starting to find a level of confidence that it hasn't shown the last one-plus seasons. Take the home dog!
            Good luck...Larry

Play on: Kings +2 -110 at linepros

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Sacramento Kings +2
The Sacramento Kings are playing their best basketball of the season right now. They are 4-1 SU & 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall with their only loss coming by a single point to the Miami Heat, 104-105. The Kings had yesterday off while the Celtics played on National TV in a 111-107 road win over the Warriors on TNT. The Celtics are a tired team now and won't have much left for the Kings, who like to push the tempo and will take advantage of those tired legs. The Celtics will also be without two of their best players in Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart. The Celtics are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games as road favorites. The Kings are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 home meetings with Boston. Sacramento is 3-0-1 ATS in its last four meetings with the Celtics overall. Give me the Kings.
