The Nets enter this contest off back to back losses with a tough trip to Indiana on deck. The good news is the team had the past two days off to game plan for this contest. Brooklyn has some major offensive advantages in this game. The Nets rank 3rd in the league in long distance shooting accuracy, the Pistons defend that shot as the 30th ranked defense. Brooklyn is also 3rd in mid-range accuracy, while the Pistons are 29th defending from that range. When looking at effective field goal percentage the Nets lead the league while the Pistons rank 29th defensively. The better play is likely the Nets team total over, but off back to back losses we have no problem laying the points.

The Red Wings pulled off an upset win over the Panthers on Sunday afternoon, bringing an end to their eight-game losing streak and recording their first victory since January 16th. I look for the Panthers to answer back on Tuesday night, and while we're dealing with a fairly steep line, I believe it could be even higher. Florida has quietly gotten off to a 6-1-2 start this season and will need to get back on track here before its schedule toughens up with three straight games against the Lightning on deck. Off seven straight one-goal games, the Panthers were ripe for the upset on Sunday against the lowly Wings but look for a much different story to unfold here. Take Florida (8*).

Iowa St has played hard the last two games and nearly got their conference win of the season. I also think it had a lot to do with the fact that WVU and Oklahoma weren't that much interested in those games. TCU is nothing special but they have also played a very tough schedule stretch as at least 5 of their last 6 were against tournament teams.
